Because of financing I have to have my procedure done between 2/1 and 2/14/2013. I don't have a date at all but was told that they are scheduling for October. because of my financing, if I don't get it done within those dates I can't get it done. So if your date is somewhere around there and you need more time to get money together, or if you changed your mind and would like to recoup some of your deposit, or whatever let me know.

Flights booked. Condo booked. 12 days preop, very excited.
I spent the day shopping yesterday. Got all of my prescriptions for $25.00 at Walmart pharmacy (except Percocet, apparently it has to be filled in Florida) The price was over $100 because I don't have insurance, but I gave them my prescription discount card.
I was worried about finding maxi dresses in winter, but then I thought about Ross, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls that all sell cheap offseason clothes. I found three dresses, and some flip-flops. So I plan on wearing those along with a long skirt and a tank, and tights with a loose shirt. I think I should be able to rotate those the entire time I'm there, so I can pack light as far as clothing goes.
I also bought two 10 pack of chux pads, sterile gauze, bath wipes just in case I can't shower.
I will be getting gloves, and Hibiclens today, and that is all I will be taking, so I'll pack that up tonight.
When I arrive in Fort Lauderdale I plan on renting a car just for that day , to drive myself from the airport, to the pre-op appt, and to get my supplies for my stay to include:
Food (lean cuisines, sugar free fruit cups, soup, protein bars and shakes, water, Gatorade, Naked juice)
Paper towels
Toilet tissue
Plastic utensils
Body Wash
Tide Pods
Bleach
Clorox
A set of cheap sheets and pillowcases
A vinyl mattress cover
Bath mat
Febreeze
I'm still debating on posting my photos or not. Well I guess that's it for now.
