Finally Making a DEPOSIT for Dr. Salama - Aventura, FL

Hey Ladies,

So I got the call last Tuesday about moving my surgery up to 11/05. I said sure and was very excited because the recovery house was made available due to another cancellation. I had exactly 2 weeks to crunch down and really get ready and finalize payments, etc. I moved my flights, made arrangement for my cat to stay with my mom. Found a lot for my car. Cleared my credit card and got fresh lab results on my BIRTHDAY last Thursday. (YES!!! I WENT TO THE DR ON MY BDAY!!!)

So today Nomie calls me and says Dr. Salama may not want to perform surgery due to my labs. I have diabetes and my A1C is 8.9... which for me is pretty good. Since i've had Type-1 (14 years) my A1C at its lowest was 8.1. Also, just last month on Sept 17th my A1C results were 9.3 which means its steadily going down. They are requiring an A1C of 6 or so. That's even lower than the 7 required for a C-section - which is way more cutting that the BBL. If my surgery was never moved from mid -December to ear;y-November I would have had a full month plus to lower my sugars overall. So they better make sure I get my BBL next week!! Otherwise !'ve been gaining and all for nothing. I skipped going out for my bday trying to stay healthy for this surgery. I planned to skip drinking on Halloween. All for what???? I want my NEW BOOTY already!

I'm hoping once my doc sends the formal letter clearing me for surgery Salama will be alright with my labs. On January 31st, I had my bone sawed down on the side my foot and that surgery was very successful. I have zero pain and my foot looks great. Honestly that was more intrusive than the BBL.

Ladies pray for me. I will know tomorrow whether its a go! If so... I fly out on Wednesday. I cannot wait!!

What is it with these people at EPS Miami? Do they not recognize that the holidays requires more availability?! I've been inquiring about booking the recovery house since before Labor Day - when I made my deposit for surgery. I've ALWAYS had the funds to reserve the damn spot. Can someone please explain how it's possible that Serenity is FULLY BOOKED for the Dec 14-Dec 23rd period? I'm more than 2 months out from my surgery and specifically asked the ladies who make the reservations when I would be able to book. I was advised up until Thanksgiving time there should be availability. SERIOUSLY?! Halloween hasn't even hit and they don't have space for me. I almost want to cancel this surgery altogether. Ladies - what are my other options??? I'm flying from NY. I can't afford a nurse. Any other recovery houses in Salama's area???

Also, if anyone has booked a room an intends on cancelling their surgery PLEASE CONTACT ME DIRECTLY.

Funny Story - the new guy I'm kickin' it with (since my fiancé passed in July) says he honestly thinks my body is a 10 compared to most of the women out here!!! This is a guy who played football in HS and benches 415lbs. He knows a nice body. I modestly told him that I can't be a 10 because I have some pudgy-ness. I told him I feel more like a 7-8. Thank god for these breasts and thighs. I guess he likes 'em thick...

So I continued to pry and asked if there was 1 thing he would change. He said " I'd make your booty just a little bigger. Not a lot, just a little."

My trainer thinks I can achieve my goal butt with workouts. She obviously hasn't seen my wish pics. I need more fat in this booty to make it look full and round. I'm not booking anymore PT sessions until I'm done with recovery.
