Round 2 With Dr. Salama

I chose to go in for a round 2 to fix some things from my previous BBL with Dr. Fisher, I chose Dr. Salama because I had faith in his skills and I had read so many great things about the Elite Plastic Surgery center and their team. Going in for surgery I was 170lbs standing at 5'0ft tall. I got lipo to my arms, upper/lower back, lower/upper abdomen, flanks, chin and arms.

I can't say whether I got the results I had been looking for just yet because I'm only a week post-op but I will definitely keep you all updated and will be answering any questions you may have.

So far EPSM has been really good to me, their professionalism and bedside manner has meant SO much to me because I have been having complications with my recovery and both their staff as well as Dr. Salama have been very attentive. Dr. Salama has been AMAZING, I can't express how much faith and respect I have for this man. I feel very taken care of under their care and I can't wait till I'm well enough to see how my results turned out.

I'm 12 days post op today, I am still very sick. This round two has been way harder than my first. Maybe it's because I had a lot more lipo done to my arms and chin? I don't know but I've been throwing up at least once a day and I have absolutely no appetite. I have to force myself to eat, SMH. Here are some pictures for you guys.

Also, I found out why I had those "burns" during my first round with Fisher, they were due to poor circulation. Dr. Salama said I have poor circulation problems and he prescribed me some medication for it because guess whaaat? I ended up getting poor circulation on my right butt cheek, the one that I really liked lol it was the left cheek that needed all the revision and now I've got the right cheek recovering poorly. BUT I'm staying optimistic and hopefully I don't scar up. I'm so over this surgery, I just want to feel better again.

Looking good so far! What was the cc volume? I just had my procedure on December 1st. I had nausea the first 24 hours then stopped all pain meds. Now I'm fine.

I don't know how many CC's I wasn't told, I'm going to stop my pain mess and see if that helps, thank you!

Ask your Dr. First. I didn't really need the meds. I'm taking extra strength Tylenol and arnica every few hours.

I have an appointment tomorrow so I'll ask then and let you know :)

Hi how are. It's so strange for me to run across your post. I am scheduled to fix some unevenness from a 8/15 Dr Fisher BBL that I have been living with. I can only do this in the spring-I am going to DR this time. But I still have time to change my mind. Please keep us updated on how you like your results. I don't think Dr Salama's price is too high.
Thanks

i am 5 days post op and have one of my butt cheeks waaaay smaller than the other...... thinking i might be in your shoes having a revision in the near future...... i hope you feel better girl!!!! recovery is brutal!!!!! your results look great though!!! tell me how do you sleep? this is your second round but how did you survive the first?

I honestly have no idea how I survived the first time, girl I've been asking myself the same thing since post op day 1 lol. It takes me FOREVER to fall asleep and I end up waking up every 3 hours feeling stiff and sore from my back. At first I used to sleep completely straight with a pillow under my head but uh-uh that got tiredesome real quick. I've started sleeping very slightly on my sides and that seems to be helping with my back pain. I'll also walk a little whenever I wake up so that my body can relax a bit.

I get it! Im 5 days post op and sleeping is TERRIBLE! I don't think I could do this again!

Yes girl be hopeful and positive eat your proteins and walk 30min once a day always be sure to follow your surgeon recommendations. To be honest I'm torn between Salama and Perry. And feel at times when I read some reviews that they are fake you know and for me that makes decision making harder.

Yeah, I feel you on that one. A lot of Salama's best reviews seem to be from 2012 which made it hard for me to decide on who to do my round 2 but at the end of the day I trusted his work the most, well TBH I was torn between Dr. Hasan (but he was MIA at the time/I didn't want to deal with Vanity again), and Dr. Blinski (he's an amazing Dr. A lot of girls go to him for revisions but at the time he was booked too far out for me, I needed something soon because of school!)

Ok. I did check out dr blinski but he is booked. October next is the earliest date that's to far for me. My vacation next yeah is last week in June - August. Thought it practical doing it then.

WOW! October 2017?!?! That's intense lol, I heard he was really good and attentive, I'm glad his hard work is paying off and people are going to him for it. I'll keep updating you all on Salama and maybe that'll help you decide on who to go too.

8 Hour Flight.

User Avatar

I'm officially 4 weeks post op today, yay! I flew back home on the 14th of December, it was a dreadful 8 hour flight. I was so pissed at the flight attendant because there were TWO empty rows and she wouldn't let me go lay down in one even after offering to pay for the extra seats. Guys I was in so much pain, I kneed down on the floor for most of my flight and by the time I got back to my hometown I could barely even stand my knees were wrecked lol. Being home has definitely made me feel better, I'm not nauseous anymore and my weakness isn't as prominent. I took this picture at the airport after my first 8 hour flight because I was scared i had flatten it out from bending over lol.
