Update post op 3 weeks
I'll be three weeks post op in two days and just wanted to post an update. Much of the swelling has subsided. Still have pain in lipo areas but mostly during the night. It's very difficult to get comfortable and stay asleep. I usually have to reposition every couple hours from pain. I haven't taken Percocet since week one except to get massages which are still painful btw. My butt is still nice and round but it has lost a couple inches. Which I welcomed because it was huge at first lol. Not being able to sit and wearing the garments 24/7 along with the sleep issues have to be the worst aspects of this surgery. I'm not sure when I'm suppose to start feeling myself or not be in pain but it's surely not at week 3 my friends. Pre op measurements were 35-25-35 now I'm 35-24-39. Much better shape overall and no abdominal fat. My normal weight was about 108lbs, 116 pre op (after deliberate weight gain) and 119 now. I'd like to get back to about 110 lbs so I can actually wear my clothes but despite eating healthy, I stay about 119. I'm hoping and assuming there's still some swelling accounting for that. Some doctors say swelling can take as much as six months to totally resolve. Long arduous process ladies. Don't really have too many pre op pics but will post pics soon !

Im 3 weeks today and my entire body is still sore and stiff but I think its because I have a 2 yr old that I chase all day long. I agree sleepless nights, tossing and turning every 30 mins to and hour. I also since surgery have left shoulder pain and both hands get numb and hands sometimes swell. I think that's from positioning during surgery. I was 43.5 post op and today Im 41 even. I so wanted to be 44 overall but that will never happen unless I gain more weight. I will be happy with at least 42.5 though

Great results! Especially since I was petite and didn't have an abundance of fat to transfer. I was 110 and gained about 6 lbs prior to surgery. He was miraculously able to harvest 2000cc of fat to inject to the buttock and hip region, giving me the upside down heart shape I desired. Staff in the office is friendly and professional from start to finish. Massages are painful but necessary. Two are included when you select Dr.Salama. Recovery retreat is a great option for out of town/state patients. Caretakers are knowledgable and compassionate. Highly recommended all around. My only warning is not about the surgeon or staff but about the actual procedure. Please recognize it is major surgery. The pain and swelling is pretty intense first few days and the entire process for BBL is about six months. Not being able to sit for six weeks and wearing highly restrictive (padded so you look ten to fifteen lbs heavier) garments for a recommended six months is part of the process so be prepared to take at least ten days of to recover and know the commitment to getting good results is lengthy.

Thanks for the honest review! I can't believe he harvested that much fat from you with only gaining 6 lbs. what areas did he lipo? also, do you know how much fat he injected into your hips vs your butt? Happy healing doll!
He only told me that what amount so I'm not sure exactly where he injected what but I didn't want huge hips so mostly in the buttocks :)

My boyfriend is trippin. I'll post some post op ones tgis week and look for pre op ones but although I have bikini shots I don't have many of my butt since it wasn't my best attribute. Lol measurements today are 34-23-39.5 pre op was 35-25-36. So he took two inches off my waist and added about 4 to my butt. But my shape is much more hourglass and my butt looks like an upside down heart. Not huge projection like some ppl like but I'm tiny and didn't want a ginormous butt anyways. I think you'll have great results with Dr. Salama. Everyone in the recovery house with me did.

I think it depends on what you want. Some girls want huuuuuge butts and there before/after a are more dramatic than mine because I was pretty petite and in good shape to start with. So are you. My old measurements had like a 10" differential between waist to hip/butt where as now I have about a 17" differential. It's made me much more hourglass shaped. My stomach has virtually no fat so I'm more confident in bikinis and my butt is bigger and better shaped. So for me I was happy. If you want a huuuuge butt you should gain more weight. But personally I think Dr.Salama could do an amazing job with you the weight you are. How many cc's are you wanting per butt cheek?
1000 ccs in each check would prob make me happy! I already have 10 inches between my waist and hips too. If I gain weight the difference will lessen and my waist will start to blend into my hips. I don't know how little my waist can get, I think my ribs are small enough to get it down a couple inches from my current size. My back needs to be sculpted in my flank area and that would make a huge difference from the back. I don't want a huge butt but I'm 5'7 so I think I could carry a bigger butt. Oh and areas he lipoed were: stomach/back/flanks/arms/ inner thigh.
This has been so helpful to me! I love your honesty and your body is amazing! We have very similar body types, I'm 5'4 and 115 lbs. I was losing hope because I keep on seeing people saying they had to gain a bunch of weight for surgery and that's not physically possible for me. I've always been athletic and tiny and thought I'd have to have a lil pancake booty forever. You give me hope girl!
