Had a bbl, staff and doc was great. Everyone works together in the office which eases the stress of the patient. The massages are realllly painful but are sooooo worth it! They leave you feeling much loser. Loving my results so far, never had much of a bum or any hips...so far so good! Six days out, can't wait til I'm all healed and can show out!

Hey girl! Glad you're happy with your results and the experience. I chose Dr. Salama to do my BBL and am figuring out when I should schedule. Do you live in Florida or did you travel? I will be traveling from California. Will you be posting pics? Happy healing!

No, I dont live here in FL, I traveled as well. Ten day stay. I didn't take many but I'll post a cpl now and more later.

Nancy told me I would need to stay down there for about 9-10 days as well. Did you have to see them prior to your surgery for a pre-op check up or was it straight to surgery? Hope you're recovering well! I'm excited!
May 30, 2016
No, I flew down on a Sunday so Monday morning we did a quick pre-op then surgery. They had all my labs and stuff from my primary doctor weeks ago. Thanks so much!

Are the drains hard to shower with? Have you gone outside much with them? Sorry for all the questions - just excited to see him but want to know how others have dealt with it! I want to schedule my surgery for this winter. Your hips look amazing and curvy. I barely have hips now so I would love that hourglass look!

Lol, its ok, I was the same way. Love the hips!! I asked for laterals versus hips thou. The drains are beyond annoying. I absolutely hate them. But showering wasn't too bad, I had help. I held the drains and basically turned, but as long as you can hold them both in one hand and wash with the other you'll be fine. I've only been out for my massages and follow ups which are like every other day. I don't enjoy laying in the back of the car so I've limited my ventures out. On day 4 I did go and walk the whole mall with a maxi on, they hook on to your garment so you dont have to worry about them moving around while you walk.

May 30, 2016
Glad to know you're able to walk around outside after a few days! I would go crazy if I couldn't go outside. And good to know the drains can hook onto your clothes. Do they hurt at all? When are you supposed to get them removed? And yes, your responses are very helpful! I'm most afraid of the recovery part lol
May 30, 2016
They hurt a little but if you can keep them from moving at the incision its not too bad. I had the back drain removed on day 5. Hopefully my front one will be removed tomorrow which is day 8. I think it would have come out today but they are closed bc of the holiday. The removal all depends on how much your draining.

Thanks! This helps because I was worried about the drains and didn't know how they would feel. I think I am over analyzing it lol. How are you sleeping? On your stomach? Thanks for answering all the ?s! This helps especially since you're in the process of recovering right now.
May 31, 2016
Not sure what happened there but sleeping was weird, bc i had my laterals (hips) done too I cant
May 31, 2016
Ok, so something really wierd was going on before. Imma try this again. So I had to do a combination sleep, kinda on half my side half my tummy. Dr. Salama will demonstrate for you if you are getting hips as well. I had to set my alarm to change positions and walk for ten mns every two hours. Left side, flat on tummy, right side and repeat. He doesn't want you only laying on your tummy.

Wow!! That doesn't sound comfy one bit but I guess that's what has to be done. I can't even imagine but I will soon find out myself. Lol. TMI but does it hurt or feel uncomfortable sitting on the toilet? I've wondered because I know you can't really sit down for a while. I bet your excited to go home. Thanks for answering all of my questions I really appreciate it!

Sooo I had my thighs lipo'd too so sitting on the potty was a bum for me. I ended up going to buy one of those hand female urinal thngys, u basically just squat. Heaven send! I would def recommend you getting that. Ummm as far as tmi, im probably about to go there lol, but for a number 2 I actually didnt have to go until my back drain was out so my legs were a little stronger and it was easier to complete the task. It was uncomfortable but not really painful.

Thank u for sharing hun..did u stay at the recovery home or a hotel ?Also did u get your tighs lipoed? If so how was it?
May 30, 2016
I stayed n a hotel. Had my thighs, arms, stomach, flanks and back lipo'd. I don't think the thighs were bad, they just bruised really badly for me. Having them didn't cause any additional problems walking or anything. Those painkillers are amazing!

Did you have wish pics to salama, I hear he doesn't like thwm..How did you convey how you wanted your hips to him? I want a nice natural look with hip to waist ratio? Did Salama ask you whant you wanted, did he seem to have agood idea of what you wanted and is it true that he does not like wish pics? Do you have the bbl pillow?
