Dr. Salama did a great job, and is caring. I can text Dr. Salama right now, 8 weeks out and he will respond right away. I would recommend Dr. Salama to anyone considering a Mommy Makeover. Nothing but good things to say about Dr. Salama! I do wish Dr. Salama had more time to spend with his patients for aftercare.
Your results are awesome! I'm sure you're very happy! The dr tucked you real tight and gave you a nice line. Happy for you after all you've gone thru. I have always used those exercise belts as well- you can buy them in any fitness section at stores too (target, walmart, big 5, etc).
I swear my exercise belt is a life saver! it truly sweats the inflammation/swelling away. Yes Dr. Salama did great work on me and is a very nice person as well. Thank you!!
I am just now starting to feel normal again. My tummy was so tight that it was hard and painful trying to get it stretched out. I had lipo of flanks only and I think the lipo caused more soreness than anything.
I walk up to 30-40 miles each week now, but just really started my daily walk/jog on week six and seven. Of course I over did on exercise and have some pain.
I am still swelled every evening and still stiff, my biggest complaint is when I sit up from the laying position I still have some shifting pressure. The best way I described the tummy tuck pressure/swelling feeling is like concrete in my tummy, it use to creep pretty high up on me and made me miserable.
If I can quit stitch spitting in my left breast I would be so relived. Those are painful!
I do love my new tummy though, still getting use to my girls, one settled one has not so I still have a ways to go, but just taking it one day at a time.
Thank you tons for sharing your experience. It sounds like you have a great man by your side and that you're through the worst. I hope the evening swelling lets up soon!
Thank you, and yes my husband is my soulmate/best friend, I know he does not even know that him doing this for me was the very best gift anyone could give me.
I hope this evening swelling goes away soon, we have a cruise booked for nov and I want to be in good health. Thanks for your kind words.
We are taking a cruise in November too! What cruise are you taking? We are going Nov 15-22 on Royal Caribbean Independence of the Sea to Haiti Honduras and Cozumel.
Wow!! Awesome results. Did you have a breast lift with implant? If so what size were you before and after? Im having a tt and breast lift/reduction (he's removing some of my breast tissue so that i won't be to big wince he put the silicone implants. Did you loose any weight before the surgery?? Also, did you take any of the make me heal vitamins or anything for swelling/ bruising?
I lost 15 pounds. Yes I had breast lift, wore C cup before surgery. Dr. Salama used 457 in right and 497 in left. Since the swelling went down in my breast they are TRUE C cups again but have settled and are very PERKY. I original wanted D cups, but I am very happy with C, my boobs look the same as they always have but were lifted and now PERKY.
I took Arnica vitamins before surgery with multi. After surgery I took the same for about 5 weeks then started back on fish oil, flaxseed oil and other vitamins. I weighed 180 before surgery and lost down to about 165 the day of surgery, now I weigh 146. I was in size 16, now I bought size 9/10 jeans. Today my residual swelling has really gone down and I am even more pleased with the results.
My best advice is to just let body heal for about 5 weeks, while doing light chores only, then start walking and BOOM you will be through it with nice body.
Hope this helps. Ask any further questions.
