Kind of confused if I'm healing well or not. My stomach looks more swollen then after surgery and being that I'm in NY and my surgeon is in Miami it's hard to get his opinion. I didn't really think about that part. I was just super excited to have the surgery. ......to be honest I'm not really happy with the results because I feel that I should have requested more lipo on my sides. My shape just looks weird. Dr. Salama did great work my scars are healing well my breast are fine I just don't like my shape and my butt looks even flatter. Some days I feel regret somedays I just tell myself it will look better. Just started doing cross fit so hopefully it will lead to a better body. But I am not happy. I hope this changes. I'm just going to work out hard and see where it takes me. The surgery gave me some headway.

Had surgery.
Hey! Had surgery. Everything went well. Very sore and tight in some areas right now but I'm moving around. I decided to stay with family here in Miami. They have been very helpful. Overall I would say the doctor is very nice. He is patient and answered many questions. So far I would say he is a great doc. I have seen my body and he did great work. I will post pictures as soon as I get home. It was not as bad as I thought..... the first 2 days was hard. But rest and eating wholesome foods and staying on top of my medication helped.

I'm doing well. Very tired but trying to move around anyway. No pain just a little sore in some areas but just applying the arnica and it makes it feel better.
whats the arnica gel for ; looks like i need to buy me some. What do you recommend that I bring with me. I haven't gotten a single thing yet.
The Arnica gel is for the soreness and aches. I didn't like the feeling of taking the pain meds. After taking the pain meds i would dose off mid sentence lol and it kind of messed of my sleep cycle. after the 7th day PO i started applying arnica gel. I would say keep it simple. I had something for lips , a water bottle, neosporin , A&D ointment in case you get a rash , neck pillow, arnica gel. Make sure you have lots of pillows at the hotel and extra washcloths, probably 20 q tips to clean those hard to reach areas like your belly button and drain site. The first 3 days after surgery i did not want to eat i just had smoothies and soup and water.
thanks hun I think im going to bring my magic bullet with me so my husband can make me smoothies. Im gonna pack all that stuff writing it down right now. how are u feeling at almost 2 weeks
Oh don't forget dial soap. I'm ok sore in some areas but doing well. Took the drains out yesterday. Had to take them out myself. I am not going to lie... I almost fainted.
why did u take them out yourself ? he left them in longer than 7 days im hoping to get mine removed by my last appointment
I was still draining too much fluid after the last appointment. And i had to travel back home after the 10th day
Im sure they'll take it out before you leave.

Preparation
There is so much preparing I feel so overwhelmed. From childcare to hotel and fights. My cousin will be going with me to help me after surgery. I have so much emotions. My doctor has given me the okay which is good but there is so much preparation because I am coming from another state. Also I was given the date so quickly ( someone else probably cancelled) but I wanted to have the surgery while I was out of work so that I can heal properly. I am having surgery in 10 days. I'm so nervous.

I am losing my mind looking for flights & hotels. Where did you decide to stay ?
Hi. Did you had your surgery done?? If you did i hope you had a nice recovery and great results.
I chose Hampton inn. Through hotel.com. That part stressed me. The hotels are expensive but the flights are not that bad. It's so overwhelming when you are paying for surgery as well.
I am not scheduled till August 19th ; how are you feeling ? I am just real nervous.
