First night after SURGERY!! :))))

Almost Time!
I'm so nervous for surgery this Tuesday! I can't wait to meet Dr. SALAMA and have him work his magic. I will be updating everyone on everything that I am going through pre- and post-Op just because having this site as a resource really helped me so much. I would love to add to that pool of knowledge as a thank you.

I'm on post-op day 10 and there is so much to know about this procedure! You research and research but it does not fully hit you until you are in the recovery process for yourself.
I know I thought I researched everything but now that I'm sitting in the waiting room for my pre-op I'm feeling like I know nothing. Last minute jitters, I guess lol. And thank you!

You will be fine! It all happens so fast. Before you can even open your eyes, they have you in a wheelchair and they are sending you on your way!
Recovery is definitely an experience. I was going to go back to work today but I just don't feel ready yet!

Family and Friends
So I decided to be pretty open about my surgery hoping that it will prevent my friends and family from judging me but it seems as though it has done the opposite. I know you can't make everyone happy but I am such a people pleaser and I feel as if people are jealous and talking about me behind my back. I guess it's what comes with it. I never wanted this to happen but I can feel it whenever I talk to them, they are just different with me. Especially girls, we all know how catty we can be. Has anybody else had issues like this?

I also told everyone that I was getting this procedure done.
At first my mother was VERY against it! She's come around......somewhat.
She's still not thrilled with the idea but she's not as opposed as she was.
I definitely got some "comments" from some of my other family. All of which could also use a booty and a few extra things! If you don't support cosmetic surgery then that's your opinion! However, if they are just hating because I have courage to change something about my body that makes me self-conscience and I don't care what people say or think, then that's their issues not mine.
I would rather them talk crap about me "knowing" I got it done versus talking crap about "speculating" that I had something done or even talking crap because I'm lying about having work done and everyone can tell!
I have some friends that are completely on board. They are sending me "wish" pictures and all!
Then others tell me I'm crazy and the most insecure person they know, which is complete BS!
We will see who the crazy one when i have a flat tummy and a nice round booty ( God and Dr. Salama willingly) and they are hating when we have our girls night out

Yes! Yes and yes! That's the same way my mother reacted. She said I'm beautiful just the way I am and that I don't need surgery at all, that I look just fine.
I agree, we only live this precious life once and I believe we should live it happily and to the fullest. If others had the money I know they would do it too!
Yes I have the people closest to me who are totally on board and are counting down the days with me! Others... Not so much. But I guess thats how you know who your true friends are!
