Hi guys,
So I thought I would share my rhinoplasty experience with you.
Before getting it done, I did a lot of research. I researched for over six months almost every day. I even considered going overseas. I was a little disappointed with how few reviews there were on here, so I thought now I would share my experience. I met with four different surgeons. Three out of the four surgeons I met with, I knew straight away just were't right. They either were really obnoxious and completely unwilling to hear about what I wanted or they just seemed like they really didn't know what they were doing and their photos did not reflect well on them (despite them having gotten amazing reviews).
The surgeon I ended up choosing cost half the price of the others (including consultation), listened to everyone of my concerns (no matter how many times he would have heard the same things from others), took the time to answer every single one of my questions, was patient and even just before going in to surgery, he again asked me "this morning before coming when you looked in the mirror, what were the main things you were not happy with?"
Along with that, he organises to see you regularly for the following year for free just to make sure everything is going okay. And if you have any concerns, he will see you.
I felt very well looked after!
They want you to stay in hospital after surgery for one night. That was the best thing I could have had. I was feeling quite a lot of discomfort and to be so well looked after by nurses throughout the night was absolutely wonderful. After that experience, I really don't know how surgeons send patients home that night.
Now, the result. I am beyond pleased. It is exactly what I was looking for. It is very natural and no one can tell I have had anything done. It is still swollen under the tip but generally the swelling has gone down.
He really did what he said he would do and no more. By that I mean, he didn't make it a ski slope or cut away too much,
My main concern was that my nose would look fake. So many noses I see are 'different' to how they were before, but they really just look fake. Mine does not.
I cannot recommend this surgeon any more! Unlike many other surgeons I know of (both that I met and that I have heard about) this man is not in it for the money. You can tell this by not only his fees, but the amount of care he gives you!
