3weeks and 2 days post op

Hey everyone, all going ok. The left breast has dropped more but right is still swollen and I get the most tightening in this one too. Still getting a lot of tightening... Is anyone else experiencing the same at this stage? I'm finding massage helps relieve it but finding it frustrating. Still feeling restricted in what I can do...am very impatient I just want to be back to normal with the kids and in the gym. I still have a couple of areas that are still healing so I can't start scar treatment yet. I also have a stitch poking through on both sides on the vertical incisions, my ps just told me to trim it, its too short so am going to contact him to find out what I need to do. I think I'm healing ok I will be happier when all the wounds are closed and I can start scar treatment. I still can't sleep lying down but manage on propped up on my side with a pillow supporting them. I always wake up and they are swollen, tight and tender, particularly underneath the breast. Sorry I feel like I'm moaning! Finding this part of the journey slow and a little worrying, if anyone has any advice would love to hear it :-).

Post op day 9

Saw the PS yesterday morning for my post op day 9 check. Had the last of my stitches removed from around the nipple and steri strips applied. I had two spitting stitches around my right nipple which he removed. This, along with infection are my two biggest fears. My right nipple doesn't seem to be healing as well and I'm a bit worried as it is weeping a little in a couple of areas, am really hoping it doesn't turn into an infection. If anyone has any hints and tips please let me know! Went shopping and bought a beautiful red simmer dress and the girls look fab in it, so nice to feel sexy again!

1 week post!

Hey ladies, firstly thanks for your comments it really helps knowing you are all there with your support. Today has to be by far my best day yet. The new boobs still don't feel part of me but it's getting better, they still feel hard and swollen but I can get my arms over my head and do things now. I went shopping at the markets yesterday and I think carrying bags took it out of me but all in all feeling good. I didn't get to see the PS yesterday as he was held up in surgery, it's fine I have seen him every day after my surgery! I'm due to see him later today and I'm hoping he's going to give me the all clear to shower!!! I did have a half shower this morning and washed my hair.....just couldn't go any longer with baby wipes! I am also hoping he will remove the antibacterial dressings so I can get to see them properly again. I still have some fluid/swelling under my breasts which give them a funny shape at the bottom but he assures me this will clear up. I am going to ask if I can leave a couple days earlier if all is good as I'm dying to get back to my kids. I will update again, hopefully with some better pictures once I've seen my PS.
