Dr. Ashley Gordon and the team at Restora were amazing. I transitioned without HRT and at 6'2.5" and 175 lbs I was quite concerned about what size and if it would be even possible to get a good result.
I am a highly active person that does weight lifting and high intensity style workouts nearly everyday. That means that not only did I not have any breast tissue from not taking hormones but that my pectorals were quite developed and thick.
Dr. Gordon and her team guided me through the sizers and gave me lots of time and multiple visits to try them on again and again.
When I went into the OR, Dr Gordon had photos of what I felt would look good and I told her I trusted her to make the best aesthetic decision.
She decided after trying a whole range of sizes that 605cc under the muscle would be perfect.
I experienced little swelling and was back to work four days after surgery.
3 months after surgery I was lifting and running again.
They look amazing and fit my frame really well.
I can do all the exercises I did before and everything feels good.
When I squat really heavy or deadlift really heavy they get a bit sore from tenses everything so tight, but no pain.
I am at 11 months post op and they have dropped and have gotten much softer.
