I had my 1st baby at 35 and 2nd at 37. They are now 3&5. Body popped right back after the 1st but w/2nd I was JACKED UP! My abs had split and even though I was dedicated to training HARD in the gym for 3+ years I still looked 5-6 mo preg!!amd then I ended up w/an umbilical hernia bc of the seperation and it popped out my already stretched out weird bellybutton...Pissed me OFF!! Even my husband said it wasn't fair to train and eat the way I do and not have the body I deserve....met w/3 diff drs before made decision. I was so nervous but SO ready!! I have fibromyalgia (pain disorder) & was terrified of PO pain... It was the worst ever!! It's the kind of pain that u actually forget bc it's so bad... Ya know? Like childbirth? The 1st few days I stayed looped UP on pills and had 24/7 help for the 1st week and moderate help from there on. I am somewhere @ the 6 wk PO mark and already LOVE my results! The TT scar is right along my csection scar and doesn't have the csection flap anymore. My boobs are amaaaaziiing...

I was nervous at 1st bc they were HUGE 1st cpl days out but have settled in nicely. Right one still higher than L bc I'm R handed so I'm told. And they have more drop to do but the gel silicone is the way to go! Wasn't prepared for my nipples being so sensitive. One thing that was bad is that when the numbness started wearing off (top to bottom) I hurt more like 4 wks out than i had previously. I am still swollen and numb from the bellybutton down. I can't seem to find compression garments small enough HA!! I need a 00 and even the XS spanx and yummietummie stuff is loose now. I Remember I was second guessing my decision about 2 wks post op bc I couldn't do anything with my kids and I was so sore and swollen so big that I actually had to buy BIGger clothes than what I had.

At the 10 day PO mRk I took a bad spill on my bathrm floor due to my son spraying coconut oil everywhere and doing so I pulled my drain tube ( DRAIN TUBE IS THE WORST) a little bit. The stuff coming out had already turned from blood red to kind of a yellowish fluid (gag) and after the fall it was red again for few days. Bc of that I had to wear my drain tube for an extra week and a 1/2. So gross and can't hide it well when in public. HATED it with a passion. It was finally removed with zero pain... Couldn't feel it at all actually and was surprised to see how long the tube actually was! I have my 6wk PO visit on Monday and I am hoping I get released to start exercising again. I miss my muscles!! It's been a long six weeks. But I am being patient... I know it can take a full year to be completely healed. I am just sooooo glad i was able to get it done. My dr and his staff made me very comfortable from the get go and I am delighted in his results... As are my husband and all of my ladies ... My best friend has decided she wants him to do her boobies this winter. I will try to post some pix of my progress over the last few weeks... After I massage my new big azzzz boobies for a few minutes! ;$

Ok well I am gonna tell u one thing that I have said MANY times since having my MM... The pain and discomfort and the not being able to stand up straight , the drain tube, the swelling, the pain, having to sit up sleeping, having to roll off the bed and from sitting (kinda like when u have a csection ), the pain,... I said numerous times that I w so glad I did them at the same time bc it was SO BAD that I don't know if I would have been able to go back in again to do my boobs. So just be confident in knowing that the boobie surgery is NOTHING like the TT!! YeH they were sore as hell for maybe 2-3 days but it's a walk in the park compared to the TT!

I've had my boobs done twice already. First time was horrible. Second time I was expecting the same and it was nothing. No pain or discomfort at all. Really the cost of everything together was more than I was prepared to spend at one time. $24,000. I can deal with my boobs but not my tummy! You look incredible!

Yeah the cost was a big issue. The main reason I had to do both is bc my husband works away in the oil field and is gone 2-3 weeks at a time. I didn't want to have two Seperate times I needed 100% help/care with my littles and myself. Well, that's good that u have a realistic idea of what to expect from a BA. Thank you so much for the compliment. I'm gonna try to take some new pix today in my new bikini... We'll see ...

Glad you're on the other side. Sorry about the pain and drain pulling, but I bet it's all worth it in the end.

I remember finding this sight a few weeks before I scheduled my surgery. It was hard for me to read some of the other ladies' posts bc I didn't think mine was really ever going to happen. I waited for so long anyhoo... Here's some pix along the way

Everything changes from day to day

From the 1st day that I came home I was blown AwAy by how much my body changes from day to day. I really can't feel anything bc it's all still so numb and swollen. Where is my bellybutton? Around this time I did get a little down on myself. I was crying to my SIL one day and questioning my decision to do this and I was really missing my babies. Even though they were both right there I couldn't do anyyyyyything with or for them and that was really hard. But that tiny blue spell passed quickly.
