My Experience with Austin Breast and Body

Dr. Robert Whitfield was my plastic surgeon, and Rebecca Risher is his PA. They were absolutely wonderful from my very first visit. The procedure was explained in detail, including not only the double mastectomy, but also the breast reconstruction that was done in the same surgical procedure. I was very comfortable with everyone on the staff of Breast and Body/Austin. After the surgery, I had a minor complication (belly button got infected), and they helped me get through everything. No question that I had was considered unnecessary or silly, and we laughed a lot at every visit. I had a follow-up surgery in September, 2016, and it went smoothly as well. In November I had new nipples tattooed on (with absolutely no pain at all). I was so very fortunate not to have to have chemo or radiation, and I would highly recommend Breast and Body to anyone needing plastic surgery.
