It takes a little while to heal, it is scary at first with the swelling and bruises. Give it some time still. It looks like it's going to be great.

Had juviderm for the first time in top and bottom...
Had juviderm for the first time in top and bottom lip Friday morning. I'm already regretting my decision. I really think they are too big and I have lumps I assume at the injection site. I know I should wait it out but even immediately after I hated the way they looked. I feel like my top lip is too big and sticks out like a duck. Will it go down?? Is there a way to reverse this?

yes yes yes! it's only two days so you will definitely see a difference in a few weeks. your lips are a bit traumatized so it's normal for there to be swelling and bumpiness. when i got this procedure done on my lips i had to go back to my doctor so he could reshape the Juvederm on one side. He squeezed my lip to push the Juvederm out a bit. Hurt like hell but in the end everything settled and looked great. Usually the doc's office will call you after a week to check on you. If they don't, call them and tell them your concerns. Go back if you want to have your lips looked at if you are still worried. I think you will have a nice result. This is just based on my own personal experience. xo :)

if there's some little lumps, like i can see in the inside of your top lip , you can gently massage it with your fingers (gently!) every day, many times like whenever you see yourself in the mirror. this way the filler will absorb more evenly.. they will also go down a bit in a week, it's normal if they are a little stiff the first few days :)

I actually think it looks really good. Mine do that too right after I have them done, but it only lasts maybe a week or so. My dermatologist says to just use a cold compress for the first few days to help the swelling go down. It probably just looks extreme to you because you're not used to it yet. I've gotten so used to it that now, once the initial swelling wears off, I feel like my lips look thin again. If you really decide you want it reversed, you can ask your doctor for hyaluronidaise, which will "deflate" them somewhat.
