WORTH IT$5,450
I had the opportunity to see several family members that I have not seen in years, as we had a wedding to celebrate. I got so many compliments! Two of my sisters want to have the same thing done.

Very nice outcome :) I am interested in this vs fillers. Thanks for the pictures!
Hi,
I was wondering if the fat is still holding up now? (2 years later)
I heard many people having trouble with fat not being as permanent as they thought. Is this a problem for you?

I appreciate your input!

Thanks
Unfortunately, It seems that it's not the fat but result of facelift. At least I have not yet found a single photo where the result of only lipofilling under the eyes is visible without combining it with facelift or blepharoplasty. It seems that in this case, too, the effect is due to the raised tissues of the face (look at the changed angle of the chin).
do you mind sharing some info about this doctor? i wanted to message you privately, but couldn't. would greatly appreciate it as im considering this myself. thank you!
Did you have facelift alongside with fat grafting? Your chin-neck angle is completely different on before-after photos

added photos

I decided to go ahead and add some photos. I wore no make-up on purpose for both photos because I wanted to see the real results. I was shy about posting these.

You needn't be shy. He did a great job. You look refreshed and natural!
Thanks. Some days I feel better about it than others, truth be told.

Hi Joan, Great results. Is the fat still holding?
Thanks. The fat is still holding. Now I want to get a facelift. I had originally wanted to get both at once, but chickened out. My doctor used a pretty conservative approach with the fat, which I like because it is better to go back and add more rather than be over-filled. I may ask him to do a touch up when I get the lift.
U look great it worked well for u
I just did a consult with Dr. Buckinham and he recommended the same procedure for me. I'm curious, this far out from the procedure, if you still see benefit? How long does it last at it's best looking? Thanks so much! I've been hoping to find someone who's had this done to get feedback from.
I only did it six days ago still swollen and bruised I lol alot fuller than usually sorry I can't help u more
Sorry, I thought I was replying to the original poster. : )

I was concerned that the deep hollows under my eyes made me look tired, and no matter how much concealer I used, the dark circles were always there. I just wanted to have an overall improvement in my face. I researched the different options and decided on fat transfer. I am very pleased with the results. It is a very natural look and I do not regret it one bit.

I had a facial fat transfer in December of 2013. It is now four months later and I am very pleased with the results. The improvements to my face have surpassed what I expected. My main concern were the hollows under my eyes. These were improved, as well as my jawline, cheeks, forehead, and even the area around my lips. The effect is subtle, and very natural. I just look refreshed and healthy. I also have been told that it took years off of my face. My skin has improved as well.

Hi there, welcome and thanks so much for sharing your experience with us!

I'm so glad everything went well for you and you got the results you were hoping for. How was the recovery period, did you have much pain and downtime?

We'd love to see a before/after photo, if you have any you feel comfortable sharing.
The recovery was not as bad as I expected it to be. Pain was really minimal. I think the hardest part was looking at myself in the mirror and wondering if I made a mistake. It took about a month before I finally felt comfortable.
How long before you could go out in public again?

I was wondering if your fat is still holding? I have had procedure by Dr. Born in Canada. It lasted for years and that is highly unusual. I only think it went away because I got cancer and lost 30 lbs.
Hi! You look great! I have been researching fat graphting after I made the huge mistake of letting a doctor remove fat under my eyes. I am scared but I love that you said he was conservative because I think most surgeons overfill which can lead to more problems! I'm with you that I would much rather go back and have more added if needed rather than have too much put in. I have had fillers and they have helped but I don't want to continue this forever. I'm looking for something more permanent. Are you still happy with the results? Did you have any lumpiness around the eyes?
