11 months post 2nd surgery - Update

WORTH IT
So it's been 11 months since my second fat transfer, and some of you have been asking for an updated pic. Still holding steady at a C cup, loving the shape and size, yes I'd do it again, even if it ended up being two rounds...I have high pain tolerance (for recovery from the lipo), and didn't want to go the implant route, so it was a good fit for me!

Looks so great!!!!
Love your result! Are you happy with how your legs have healed? Could I ask - about how much did two rounds cost? I'm pretty confident that's what I would need to do too.
Thank you! Me too :) Overall I'm happy with my legs...they have a good shape and I don't have any of the weird divots or bumps that some women end up with. They do seem less smooth in certain light (on the front), but it's super subtle and I think I think they may very well just look the way that 50 year old legs look LOL . I keep wanting to use a roller on them to even it out and keep forgetting to, but again, I don't think that anyone else, not looking down on them from my vantage point, and with indoor lighting, would be able to tell. The scars are very tiny and will fade completely in the next 1-2 years. It ended up being just over $18K, with both rounds (she discounted the second by about 40%)
That’s really good to know. I have an athletic build but plenty of fat at the flanks and buttocks. My biggest worry is weird divits or scars since I spend a lot of time in a suit or short water shorts in the summer. It must feel so good to be on the other side of everything and thanks so much for sharing!

1 week post 2nd op

The first few days were as painful as I remembered them from the first round :-P But as before, I switched to tylenol on the 3rd day, and am going to stop that as well today. Much easier moving around now! My breasts are starting to soften...it was a little bit of an adjustment, seeing them with 300 extra ccs each, but I knew that they would deflate and soften soon enough, so I didn't worry. My expectation is that I'll go up a full size from my initial size of 'b minus', and a half size up (maybe a bit more) from where I was prior to this second round of fat transfer. The bruising is really pronounced where she took the most fat, inner thigh and sides of lower back, but the Body Tite areas (from of thigh, stomach) are recuperating faster, probably just due to less trauma than actual lipo. Went on my first walk today (3 miles), last time I waited 2 weeks, but feeling well enough that I treated myself, especially since the weather just changed and it's refreshingly cool outside :)

Hi! My name is Karen. I actually just had fat transfer to breasts with Dr Walden 5 days ago. I absolutely LOVE the shape and size right now, but I know after swelling and fat reabsorption, I'll want a 2nd round. I'm just wondering if she charged the same amount as the first time or if there was any kind of a price break. Not sure I can financially justify a 2nd round for a while. For what it's worth... anyone reading this... I highly recommend Dr. Walden. She and her staff (especially the staff) are so amazing, and I believe she is one of the most experienced and well trained doctors in this particular procedure. Just don't expect too much of a size increase. It's more for a rounder shape and a cuter more youthful perkiness.
Hi! Yes there was a discount for the second round because she went back in and got the fat from fewer places, so for me it was about 60% of the original price. For what it's worth I'm super glad I did the second round, I love the results so far (2.5 months in), there is a lot more volume, of course if you add first and second round that's a total of 500 cc's in each breast which equals out to about a full size up once you allow for reabsorption :) And yes, her staff is great, and Dr Walden did a really nice job on the shape!
Thank you SOOOOOOOO MUCH for your reply. And great to hear you're loving it. Good luck!!
You look gorgeous, how is the shape / size now after the 3 months mark ?
Hi! I'm a solid C cup now, there was shrinkage as expected, so I ended up going up a cup size (don't expect there to be further loss), which I'm thrilled with :)
Thank you for sharing your experience with your surgery. I am considering the same procedure and it sounds like some doctors have patients wear a BRAVA device for several weeks before receiving the fat graft to maximize fat survival. Did Dr. Walden have you use one? Your results look fantastic by the way!
Sorry just saw this...no she did not, she didn't think it made much of a difference, though in the interest of full disclosure, I DID use something similar for close to a year a couple of years prior to my surgery as I was trying to see if that would increase size by itself (it did not LOL)

Just did another round!

Well, I just had another fat transfer this morning lol.
I was very happy with my first transfer as far as how much it improved the shape of my breasts (filling them up so that they looked good...subtle but I love them), however I went up half a size (as expected) and I really did want a bit more.
So I had a consult with Dr Walden who said she thought I could get close to half a size more if we did another transfer. She thought she’d get less than the 500ccs she got first round, but that it would suffice. While under I also asked her to do BodyTite on my stomach and front and back legs, and take care of a small scar on my arm, figured why not!
I deliberated for several months, I was torn on whether to take the inherent, even if small, risk of surgery just for cosmetic reasons yet again, but given how well my recovery went the first time, and that many small breasted, thin women do have to have more than one transfer in order to get enough size difference (in Asia and Europe it’s common), I went for it.
Everything went really well, she was actually able to get 600 ccs (!!!!!!) out of my upper inner thighs and my lower back (I was about 6 pounds heavier than the first time), so she added 300 in one and 275 in the other, I will post pics once the bandage comes off tomorrow. :)

How are you feeling? I am getting Lightbow on my stomach, inner thighs, flanks and fat transfer to my breast in January. I’m very nervous about any lumps and bumps as well! I have always been a 34B, even while breast-feeding! But now I am deflated on my upper pole, so the surgeon is going to concentrate putting fat back in the upper part of my breast. He recommends a package of lymphatic massages Following the surgery to help smooth out any lumpiness. Did you do any of that? Or did you just find the hand roller worked well enough. Thanks! Your pictures look great!
I wish I had been able to have a massage! I try to get them weekly but Dr W said no massages for at least 3 weeks...lymphatic is different, I know, so I would go with what your Dr is recommending, and what a nice treat :) Definitely had some bumps for a few months, but they all ended up smoothing out!
Congrats on your second round and getting a nice amount of ccs! We have a similar story. I deliberated a long while too. I’m so glad I went for the second round and hope you are too. Happy healing!
Just read your second story (I originally kept up with your first because we were going through it roughly at the same time LOL)...yes, I expect my results will be very close to yours, so far it's very similar, but I agree with you definitely...2nd and LAST! LOL
And I should have added that you look great!!!
Thank you! You look great as well :)
