Post op day 7

It's officially been a week since my surgery and I am feeling pretty great! Still feeling a little bloated and I might take another bottle of magnesium citrate to combat that but other than that, everything is progressing very well. The nerves in my left breast are definitely alive and functioning as they do cause me discomfort and the tingling/burning/spasm sensations that I was forewarned about but Tylenol extra strength has come to my rescue! :)

Post op day 5! Back to work and driving...

So I had my surgery the day before Thanksgiving, and my wonderful boyfriend took care of me for the entire 5 day weekend I had to recover. I had limited mobility so he literally had to walk with me everywhere and hold my hand and even lift me a couple of times. Most of the time, I needed help in the restroom, couldn't pull my pants up or down. He waited on me hand and foot and was super attentive and made sure I took all my meds on time and was eating well and drank plenty of water as well as got lots of rest. I'm so grateful and appreciative to have him care for me the way he did...it really shows how much he truly loves me. He helped me shower 2 days post surgery when I could finally take one...let me tell you, if a man can help you use the restroom AND shower you and ALL of your private areas and still tells you you're beautiful in the morning after you first wake up, no make up, hair unbrushed, recovering from surgery(and you know you look like a mess!)...he's a keeper!

Anyway, my right breast is healing along great, no pains or anything! My left breast however has been giving me sporadic sessions of throbbing pain here and there...but the flexeril(muscle relaxer) is definitely helping to combat that. Driving is no easy task, but I made it into work today as usual. I can't wait until they drop more but the inflammation has definitely gone down quite a lot. Super excited to see how they keep progressing! I'm glad I did this during this season right now, so that hopefully by March or April when things warm up again, me and the girls will be ready! :)

slight bruising

Meant to post a picture of my other incision site.
