After 15 years of wanting larger breasts it is...

After 15 years of wanting larger breasts it is finally time for me to have some new boobies! I breastfed two wonderful baby girls but they sucked the life right out of me! I was a 36B pre children. I went down to a 34A after breastfeeding and getting into triathlons and marathons (getting much leaner). I want to share my experience with all of the petite ladies out there as I am on 5'2 and 113 lb during off seasons and 108-110 lb training weight. My rib cage is 29" and my BWD is 10.5 cm, so I am on the tiny side. I obsessively searched the web to try and find similarly shaped ladies and breast sizes that would be conducive to my active lifestyle and fit my athletic build without looking like a [RS bleep] star but there are not too many out there so hopefully this will help others out! I want a cute small pair of Jen Aniston/ Julianne Hough breasts, nothing Pam Andersonish. I want to stay conservative with the CC so I was stuck between 275 and 300 and which would be most natural. My PS said 300 would be ideal for me in High profile, but I REALLY don't want the fake boob look!!!! My pre-op was last week and after the Mentor Volume Sizing I am even more confused! AGGGHHH! Hopefully he will have both in the OR on Thursday and will decide then the best size and profile between the High Profile or Mod Plus Silicone Round Gels. Surgery is in 4 days so stay tuned!!!!

Hi Thank you for sharing your journey, I too am about the same size and build as you, very low BF, and BF two babies. I have been to two consults and they both say different things, the first one said textured tear drop about 330 to 350cc under the muscle and the other one said under muscle furry brazilians, but maybe with an internal bra! How has training been after the BA? And how is the size? Thanks for your updates too!

I went back to training after a month off postop. I did an olympic tri two months post op and the swim was a bit stiff still but then a half iron 4 months postop and did not feel any different from any preop training and events. I have continued running and cycling since and It amazes me how much a part of my body they have become and how i don't even remember life pre-boobs. they feel and look so normal and natural. I think I went the perfect size too. you cant tell I got them done in regular clothes (due to push ups worn prior) but in sports bras and bathing suits you really can tell!! Good Luck!!

@devalic13 - which size did you end up going with? I’m on the fence too between 275-300cc. I absolutely don’t want the fake look either. I’m 5’6”; lean t 122 lbs; BF 3 babies and am 49. I want them to look natural and with clothes on like I didn’t have anything done (due to wearing padded bras) but want the fullness in sports bras & bthing suits just s you describe. Thank you!

I'm not sure if the original poster is still on this site or not, but I believe she went with 300 Mod profile (based on another post). I had her same doctor and have 340/360 and am 5'3", 116lbs (and a very small starting point, breastwise, after BFing). Take a look at my profile and see if it feels too large. That might help you narrow down the 275-300 range. I did find that I thought I'd be going with a 300 at most, and Dr. Kerr (and other consults) suggested I go larger. I was SO SO SO worried about being too large or looking fake and had a lot of anxiety about it post surgery - I wrote a long post on my review about my waffling on breast sizes! Now I LOVE the size I am, but I think I would have been happy slightly smaller too. They say most women would regret being too small rather than too large, but I knew that wasn't the case for me and made sure my Doctor knew my goals.

You will do great! I was SO excited the days leading to my surgery. I had mine on April 3, 14. So now 2 months post op today! Get your housework and grocery shopping, laundry etc done and just heal and relax if you can for the first week. Stay on top of your pain meds, they work better. The pain for me was like breast milk engorgement, especially when you stand from a laying position. I could finally sleep on my side about 3 wks later and slept reclined for almost that long too. I have NO regrets in doing mine. I wonder if I should of gone bigger, even tho I know my surgeon put as much as he could in me. I went from a 32A to a 32D...my Victoria Secrets tell me 32DDD...but ya know lol. I had 380cc in my left and 390cc in my right. Good luck and cant wait to hear how your doing! Enjoy them, I sure do!

I had mine done May 30, so I 4 days post op. If you have a prescription for Xanax, take it the morning of surgery. It will so help you ease into it. Post op, prepare for at least three days down. I am very active and athletic, so I thought I would have it easier than most. Nope. It was very painful. Hard to get up, and had to sleep propped up every night so far. Today is a great day. I am feeling good and about 75% back to myself. I was a 34B, and now I'm not so sure. I was supposed to get a modest C with 350-400. But he told me today he put in 421. So I'm assuming I'm at least a D! Just remember, in the long run it will be worth it. Four-five days of discomfort will be nothing in the long run! BTW, watch for excessive bloating afterwards, not just in the breasts. Nobody told me, and I freaked a bit. I went up 12 lbs post surgery. I have lost about half of it as of today.

OMG 12lbs, I would die! I am aware of the anesthesia bloat after 2 c-sections but did think it would be that bad! I bought tons of pineapple juice, cranberry juice and powerade to drink throughout the days following to keep hydrated and flush the anesthesia out as quick as possible. Hope you are healing well otherwise and thank you for the update! I am a nervous wreck right now....

I understand your fear. Did they give you Xanax? It was a godsend. I am enough of a worrywart. The post surgery nausea lasted two days. My appetite returned immediately lol. Try not to stress too much. Four days and you will be feeling wonderful!! I took off Friday for the surgery, and was back to work Monday (although I should've stayed home yesterday). Today I am back to my normal self, just taking some getting used to the extra weight on my chest and a little tenderness. Hang in there.

Im so glad to hear you are up and back to work. I read alot of stories where girls are paralyzed in pain or take 2 weeks off of work and life to recover..unfortunately I cant do that as a working single parent so Im planning on being back to work by Monday too and back in the saddle with the kiddos by then too...
June 4, 2014
You should be good to go by Monday! Another thing I wasn't prepared for was the shape of them afterwards. It takes 4-6 weeks for them to settle and work themselves out. Right now, I have two globes high on my chest that look pretty ridiculous. Frankenboobs they call them lol.

Happy healing! Hope your lady lumps are off to a great start! Glad to hear I picked a great surgeon! He seems super calm, collected and totally in control (almost cocky) but in a good way. Counting down the minutes!

I would go 300 if I were you. These boobs, even the larger ones do not look fake. I had 225 over the muscle and because I'm so tiny, I went to a 30D, but most people with my clothes on cannot tell I had anything done. So I've developed capsular contracture and just had a revision yesterday and went up to 350, so I will post my new pics soon. Check them out tomorr to see. I'm 5'2" and 107 pounds. I was in a lot of pain yesterday but today is better, so you can get thru it. My overs were a simpler recovery compared to unders, but all will be well soon. Good luck. They are really really fun to have despite the expense, pain and stress!!

I'm so freaking conservative, I can't believe I'm sharing these pics! But I want my little ladies to get an idea of before and after. So right now I'm wearing a super padded 34A which is probably wrong size but who cares at this point with like 36 hours to go!! But as you can see I'm super lean and small. I took May off of training so I'm slightly heavier now than I have been last three years. So hence my apprehension about going too big and looking crazy in my tri suits and running singlets.
