I'm 20 years old, and very petite. I do workout everyday and just overall very active. I've been a 34a/32b since I was like 14. I decided it's way more than safe to say that it was time just to get me my girls! Hoping for a small C when healed. I'm going with a 300cc silicone, mod prof. Date: 3/24/16

Itty bitty committee!
Here are some before pictures of what I am now (prior to surgery). I'm currently a 34a/32b -- 34a width fits a lot better but I have nip slips, while a 32b is a little too tight but the cup covers my breast completely. So weird.

Yes, VERY excited! Today marks exactly 2 weeks! Today I am supposed to already stop any supplements I have been taking, change my soap, and start taking a multivitamin. I've already bought all my new soft bras and comfy button up jammies; it's just a waiting game now.

Eeep! 2 more days!
So my procedure is in 2 more days! Friends and family keep asking if I'm nervous, but heck no! I'm so excited! The only nerve I have wrecking right now is how long am I not going to be able to workout for! I keep seeing other ladies say that they were able to do cardio and legs soon. Has anyone got back in the gym fairly quick and just hop back into a normal leg day or cardio day? And is working out abs okay? I know it's supposed to be upper body, but I don't consider my mid area "upper". Lol. Anyways. If anyone has any idea or 2 cents to give, feel free! I'm so scared of losing my gains. ????

Hello. I want to wish you the best. I am almost a month post op and starting to resume cardio treadmill leg press just taking it easy on upper body right now. I managed to go through this pain free I hope the same for you. Keep me posted on your recovery

Hey Calirobin! So when did you first hit the gym again? Like how many days/weeks after your surgery?

March 24, 2016
I am at 4 weeks and at gym no upper body right now. Hopefully at my 2 month full release to resume everything. I have a charity rowing event end of April so hope I am good to row. Hope all is well. Feel free to ask ?

Hi K! I'M 1 month post op today. I know how you feel about not being able to work out for awhile. I lost over 40 lbs and have kept it off for two years now. I lift very heavy weights mostly for about 4 to 6 days a week. Right before my ba, I hit the gym really hard and I put on lots of muscle. So back to your question: My doctor wanted me to move around from day 1. Just very light walking. The pain was not so bad on day 1 but I was so out of it from the anesthesia, but I walked around the inside of my house for about 10 minutes. But even that was hard t do because the swelling gets so hard that it's hard to breathe! By week 2, he told me I could walk but light walking. I walked for about 20 mins on my treadmill but with my arms on the bar (no arm swinging). By week 3, I was able to go to the gym but no upper body exercises. I went 3 times that week where I walked for 30 minutes to an hour at about 3 to 3.5 mph on the treadmill. But I don't use my arms because I don't want to do anything to harm my investment. To get a "good" workout, I put the treadmill at an Incline from 5 to 8. Then I did exercises that Do NOT engage my chest or arms...all lower body exercises. I did: hip thrusts on the machine, standing leg curls. And I used the abductor and Adduction machines for my glutes. I also did the leg extensions and seated leg curls. But not heavy weights! I did the exercises to where I could do 3 sets of 15 reps. Oh and I did manage to workout my calves on the calf extension machine. But boy do I miss my squats and lunges!! Today I did much of the same but I just started out with heavier weight for each exercise and on the treadmill, I raised the Incline to 12 at 3.5 mph for 45 mins. I haven't done any abs. But another friend here said that she is able to isolate her abs to where she's not engaging her chest muscles by doing reverse curls while lying on her back. I haven't tried that yet but I might give it a try tomorrow. But believe me, the first week you may be to weak to move too much. I had my ba in February because I have vacation and traveling coming up in July and I wanted to get back into shape by that time. Good luck with your ba. Ask you ps what he recommends as far as working out is concerned. I look forward to following you! Hugs ❤

Fyi, I could workout on the elliptical machine. But since my goal is building muscle, for me, if I do too much cardio, I lose my muscle and then I get thinner but flabby. Also, I wanted to say that I could have gone bigger on my ba but fitness is a priority for me. I love the way many women here look with fuller, large breasts but I was afraid that I might look top heavy or that going bigger might interfere with my strength training. I have Mentor round 300ccs under the muscle. Feel free to look at my profile. Ate you going UNDER the muscle? And where will your incision be?

March 23, 2016
Ah! I'm so happy you found me! Yes I'm getting 300cc mod prof under muscle. And through the crease. I have a music festival I'm attending to 2 weeks after surgery so my main goal at that point will be to not look bloated and lean at least. :/ have you tried sitting leg press to substitute for squats?

March 23, 2016
I have moderate profile too! I did do leg presses, I forgot to include that exercise, so yes! I usually use the leg press machine with the plates. But since I can't lift that much weight with my arms, I used the leg press machine with the weight stacks--the one where you insert a pin. I just couldn't go too heavy because when I did, I could feel my pecs tightening up. But I dI'd loys of reps about 15-20. I'm pretty sore this morning, so I know I got a good workout! We have a snowstorm this morning, so I won't make it to the gym :( But I got a treadmill and bands. I'm going to try the reverse abs on my back today. I'm glad I found you too!

March 23, 2016
Keep me up to date on your workouts that are acceptable and working! I want to know that way I don't hurt myself lol

March 25, 2016
Hi KayyB615! So yesterday I tried the reverse abs while lying on my back. It worked! I didn't have to use my chest or arms. I was able to isolate my ab muscles and today I'm pretty sore. Woo hoo! At the gym this morning I dud the usual leg workout and I did an intense uphill walk on the treadmill for 30 mins. It felt really good!

March 23, 2016
Oh! And how long did you swelling and bloat last in your abdominal area? I'm praying it goes away by week 2!

March 25, 2016
I was bloated the first three days. Part of it is from the anesthesia and the other part is from the pain meds. Everyone is different but I had severe pain for two days only. Once I stopped taking the pain meds on day 4, the bloating went away. Don't worry you won't be bloated for long!
