Astounding results! I had facial fat grafting and could not have wished for a better outcome:
I'm 48 now but was 46 when I had the fat grafting so my review is based on not just the immediate results, but longer term results.
First and foremost, I look natural and when I tell people what I had done they are shocked as they think I look significantly better (more rested) but could never pinpoint why .... and you can see the wheels turning as they look at my face in awe that they still can't see exactly what was done in any one place. They see I look better overall, but just can't grasp what I am telling them with their eye.
Point being, the results are superbly subtle but life changing. I'm a thin person and knew as I aged losing fat in my face would not only age me, but make me look sickly. And that's exactly what happened. I did not want to necessarily look younger, but look healthy. Dr Buckingham achieved that result perfectly. Except I do look younger - but naturally so.
I want everyone to know I did years of research before having this procedure. In the wrong hands this can be devastating and disfiguring ... I consulted with 3 other doctors (none were in Austin). I even drove to Dallas to visit a highly recommended surgeon but ultimately found Dr Buckingham to be the most well-rounded in everything I was looking for: talented, experienced, realistic, cautious, gentle, effective, informative, honest, open, and no ulterior motive being his priority that I could find (such as $$$).
I feel super lucky to have the results I do.
