I was informed 8 months ago that I tested positive for the BRCA 2 mutation gene. My mother passed away from breast cancer, and I have several family members with breast cancer. I decided to have a prophylactic bilateral mastectomy with breast reconstruction. I was referred to Dr Weinfeld by my breast surgeon. I feel very grateful to have this wonderful team of doctors. I was terrified to have the surgery, but Dr. Weinfeld’s compassion, expertise and incredible bedside manner made my surgery decision so worth it. I’m extremely pleased with the outcome and the entire experience. His staff are equally as wonderful, Jamie and Allison always having a smiling, friendly face, and always return my calls and address my concerns with the utmost priority. All his office staff are amazing, professional and friendly. Dr. Winfield always had my best interest in mind, and the results from his meticulous work made me feel confident and beautiful again. I highly recommend him as an experienced, professional plastic surgeon.
