29 Yo Female, 2 Children, & Ready for my Mommy Makeover! Scheduled for Lipo of the Abdomen & Flank, & a Breast Lift. Augusta, GA

Just basic info about me and my journey to become the old me again!!

I am a little over 3 weeks away from getting my abdomen and flank liposuction as well as my breast lift. I am so excited! I have two children under the age of 7. After having my second child in 2013, I struggled getting this weight off. Pre-pregnancy, I weighted about 148, I am 5"5. Currently I weigh 172. My weight is mostly in my stomach area. I chose to schedule these procedures because I need motivation to get back on track. I need a little help to feel somewhat better about myself and to maintain a healthier lifestyle. I will advise everyone to ALWAYS get a second opinion as far as plastic surgeons go. I originally went to a well known surgeon in my area who was amazing but didn't make me feel completely confident with the look I was trying to achieve. I was quoted $11,060 for a breast lift and abdominal liposuction. The same day, I called another well known plastic surgeon in my area, they got me in the very next day for a consultation! Immediately, I feel in love with the staff. Dr. Austin made me feel like he is the best at what he does and his confidence in performing my procedures got me excited! I feel so excited to have a great surgeon and staff supporting me in this new chapter of my life. Not that price should ever matter when selecting a plastic surgeon but, being that Dr. Austin was down to earth and very talented AND the price was much less than the other facility, I jumped at the opportunity! Soo.... Enough about that, let's talk about my journey so far!!

Consultation day:
Upon arriving, the office was small but very up to date and modern. I sat in the waiting room for less than 15minutes. While you wait to be seen in the exam room, there is a TV that has every cosmetic procedure video available to watch for additional information. Dr. Austin enters the room and makes you feel very welcomed. His staff is super sweet as well! He's down to earth and funny. He doesn't make you feel uncomfortable at all. After discussing what your interested in, he steps out and allows you to change into a robe. (A very nice robe at that!) time for the consult. We went over areas that he felt would be most beneficial to me. When discussing my concerns of getting implants or not with my breast lift, he assured me that I have great breast tissue that would benefit from a lift alone. I'm so grateful he helped make that decision with me! Breast lift it is! I feel confident with my full C as it is! I'm sold! I pay for it and schedule it that day! I literally can't wait! Preop was today! I'm so excited but super nervous! Dr. Austin and his staff are so reassuring and kind! I had measurements taken and surgical instructions reviewed. The pictures were my least favorite part, only because I dread anyone seeing this horrific sight! I am so confident in Dr. Austins work, I can't wait to see the results!! Only a few more days.... 8 to be exact! I promise I will post before pictures!

I can't believe surgery is almost here. I am beyond nervous. It's 3:25 am and I can't sleep a wink. All I can think about it how painful this will be. I know I am putting myself in this situation and I don't regret it one bit! Don't get me wrong, I'm super excited, just anxious about what to expect afterwards. I feel sick to my stomach. I'm such a worry wart ????????I'm ready to do this in a few days and focus on bathing suit season bahaha
