Dr Aquadro will be preforming an extended tummy...

Dr Aquadro will be preforming an extended tummy tuck, breast lift, areola reduction, replacement of my current 500cc saline implants with silicone implants, and a capsular contracture repair. I used a different PS for my previous BA 8 years ago. Since then I gave birth to my third child and breastfed (yes, with implants - no issues at all!). I gained a ton of weight in the years following my pregnancy, but over the last 2 years I have lost 120 pounds! I am very content with my current weight but not with all the extra skin. In the last year I have developed a capsular contracture in my right breast. I'm not sure if it was caused from the extreme fluctuations in my weight but I never had any problems until the weight started falling off. So here I am now... at my goal weight but with a deflated tummy, one droopy breast, and one hard misshapen breast. My surgery is scheduled for July 3rd. I am so very excited!

Surgery day!

Today is the big day! Tummy tuck, breast lift, implant exchange with capsular contracture repair. I'm nervous but so ready! I will be staying overnight in the hospital tonight. We have a hotel room booked for 5 days so I will be able to heal some before making the trip home. Gotta cut this post short, they are here to get me! Yay!!!!!

Post surgery update

I'm about 4 hours out. My pain is being managed well right now, though it was excruciating for the first couple of hour after waking. My PS injected Exparel during the surgery and alternated Morphine and Fentanyl immediately in the recovery room. Now I am on Percocet Valium and Zanaflex. This seems to be doing a much better job at controlling my pain levels, however now I am having a very hard time staying awake. Which is not a bad thing LOL. This compression garnet is so tight around my rib cage that I almost feel as if my ribs are being bruised. I do still have my foley catheter in. They are hoping to remove it sometime in the next few hours. Until then I'm just laying here snoozing. (I am staying overnight in the hospital. The staff here have been amazing.) All in all I am feeling better than I expected which is great!!
