Days are flying by....I can't wait
Time is going by so much faster than I thought. Praying all goes well. What did you all do for swelling? Anything else I should know before surgery? I have started eating vegetarian again. So will deff be eating that way after surgery. Has anyone who lived by themselves gotten this surgery? I only want someone to stay with me for maybe 4 days like some people have advised. Either way all my family lives less than 5 minutes away. Praying for you all! I would love for those of you who have gone with Davoudi to comment.

Hey I'm thinking about using Davoudi...may I ask about ballpark what you were quoted? I know everyone is different I'm just trying to get an idea because the surgeon I got a quote from in Atlanta told me $9700 for a full tummy tuck w/ lipo!

You'll be ok! I was so nervous before my surgery since it was my first but it was so easy...the anesthesia scared me most but it was the easiest part lol
I've only been looking at Davoudi for the past few days! I felt like the quote my surgeon gave me was too high so I started researching more Drs and ran across him. And the fact that he's only 30 min from me is amazing. I'm hoping to get in for a consult next week!

I'm 31 :) I'm planning on getting mine at the beginning of September. I want to wait until my oldest is back in school since my husband can only stay home to help me 2-3 days

I did they should be on my profile. I scheduled surgery with him for September 1st! He'll be doing the full tummy tuck, lipo on my front and lipo on my back. I'm about 5'1 and 125
So you did decide?! What made you decide? I thought you were still going to other consults? Ooh! I see! Well that explains! Cause I'm 20 lbs and 3 ft bigger than you! Mines is 1000 more than you...
He's closer, the fact that he's in the hospital, his work, I felt comfortable with him...a whole bunch of factors lol the price also factored in...I was expecting he'd be a lot more money once I saw his office and his work. I think that's a great price so I jumped on it lol

I went by myself with my kids lol husband couldn't get off work but he actually is going in for a consult of his own on Tuesday so he'll get to meet Dr Davoudi as well!

Can't sleep
So, I'm thinking about surgery. And I've actually gained a few lbs but have started eating vegan again because I think so much stress with life overall was making me eat alot. Anyways...so I put on my waist trainer and I wanted to sleep in it today but it's so tight and uncomfortable it hurts to breathe. I am laying in bed and trying to position myself how I would sleep after surgery. I am not getting the infamous recliner. Where there are any of you ladies that just slept on your bed? How did it go and how exactly did you position yourself? God bless you all! By the way, I was going to upload a pic of me in my waistrainer in bed but it's dark and I'm too tired to turn the light on!

The Dr, Office will give you a binder and a compression garment. It is only necessary to buy your own if you need an extra one. I bought an extra compression garment in a smaller size so that as I got smaller I would have one that fit better. I am so glad that I did because the one he gave me I could only fit for a couple weeks then it was too big.
Did you use exparel? Was it worth it?
I think he does. I've had mine for about 2 years
I got the Exparel. I believe it was worth it. Especially because I traveled 4 hours right after surgery. Without the Exparel I probably would have not been able to travel and would have been in a whole lot more pain.

Its really overwhelming for me.. People use so many different things, compression, binder, boards, waist, trainers. Then to figure out when to get it and size and where to go. geez stressing and I am not having surgery till Sept. LOL

I found a recliner at a thrift store that was practically brand new for really cheap and it saved my life. The bed was hard to get out of for me,I didn't even attempt it for a week or so and I had to have help. one of those zero gravity chairs are good too
