3 Weeks Post-op

I'm trying to show you guys the wonderful results but the pictures don't do Dr. Jimmerson's work any justice.

Pre op and Surgery

I arrived in Atlanta and Terris picked me up from the airport and we went to my pre op appointment. I met with the nurse and she did my blood pressure. She then went over medical/family histoty with me. She read some forms for each operation that was being done and I signed electronically. She told me not to eat after 12:00am, shower with antibacterial soap, wear loose clothing, shoes to slide my feet in, no jewelry or valuables and I was given a list. She went over the list of medications and gave me a written prescription. I was going to be getting pain meds, muscle relaxers, nausea meds, stool softeners, antibiotics and seven injections for blood thinners that had to be injected after surgery and on a daily basis in either my arms or thighs. I was also prescribed one pill that I had to take with a sip of water as soon as I woke up the day of my surgery. I was told to make sure that I pick up the medications and bring them with me on the day of my surgery. The nurse called the pharmacists and gave him my information. My surgery was scheduled for the next day at 7:30am and I had to be there by 6:30am. My post op was scheduled for a week after my surgery. I was given a folder with all the paperwork and left the office. Terris took me to the pharmacist and I was able to use my insurance and I paid $77 out of pocket for the medications. Terris got me a female urinal and I think it was from the pharmacist, I never found out. We went to Target and Walmart and I bought my boppy and did some last minute shopping. If I could do it all over, I would not have brought anything with me. I would have waited until I got to Atlanta and I would have bought a robe, bedroom slippers, pads and hygienic products. I had a packed bag that I did not open or use and Terris had most of what I needed. We went back to Terris' and my room was set up and I loved it. I took a shower, ate a salad and fell asleep. I woke up at 4:30am and prepared myself as instructed. We left at 5:30am with my boppy and medications. I met with a staff member who took me to the bathroom and I changed my clothes. I put on a hospital gown, head cap and compression socks. I was able to keep my shoes on and my other garments were put in a bag. I was escorted to a room with a recliner and the nurse came in and put a neddle in my arm and prepped me for surgery. I then met with the anesthesiologist and after we spoke, I signed paperwork electronically. I then met with Dr. Jimmerson and he marked me up. He told me that my ass was tight but he would put as much fat as possinle and not to worry, it's going to be perfect. The anesthesiologist came back and gave me something, I went to the bathroom and then into the operating room and I was asleep within two minutes.

Consultation and Preparations

I live in NYC and I called Dr. Jimmerson's office in 02/2013 and my in person consultation was scheduled for 05/2013. I knew that I wanted a tummy tuck and while doing my research I found out about Dr. Jimmerson. I've always wanted a big butt and I figured I might as well combine the two surgeries. I met with Dr. Jimmerson for my consult and he answered all of my questions and I felt comfortable. My procedure date was scheduled for 02/2014 and I paid $11, 500 in cash and 6, 000 from Carecredit. I did not exercise or eat as I should and in 10/2013, I called and rescheduled my procedure for 10/2014. I did loose weight but not as much as I would have liked and my date was approaching and I decided to just go through with the procedure. I did my medical clearance in 09/2014 and I was given the okay to do the procedure. My medical exam was covered by my insurance, so I didn't have to pay for the exam. My doctor's office faxed over the forms but they did not received the documents at Dr. Jimmerson's office.Turns out the forms had the fax number to Dr. Jimmerson's old office. I was able to get the correct number and the documents were faxed over again. I spoke to my patient consultant and she confirmed that they received the documents and that everything looked good and I was told that I would get a call if there were any issues. Two weeks before my procedure, the person who was supposed to fly out with me and help me after the procedure had to cancel. Thanks to realself, I found Terris information and I was able to stay with her. Three days before my surgery, I get a call from Dr. Jimmerson's office asking if I wanted the procedure a day earlier. I said I couldn't because I already had my flight booked and I couldn't get out of work. I was told okay and that they would see me at my pre op appointment.
