Been dealing with up and down weight loss for years now. I know what to do to keep the weight off but can never do anything about this fat GUT!! It's been an eye sore for too many years and I'm ready to say good bye! I been stalking Real Self for about 2 months now and I'm ready! I must say Thank You!! to all the ladies that have shared there journey because it has really helped prepare me. I plan to share mines as well! I sent for a quote from Dr. Cochran and Dr. Pagadala in Columbus Ga and was told $6000 for Tummy tuck, lipo of flanks and bra roll. I sent for a quote from Dra. Almonte in DR and haven't heard anything back yet. I have a consult coming up with Dr Davoudi in Atlanta next week and I'm super excited . I can ask all the questions I need and also tell him what I want to look like and he can tell me exactly what needs to be done to achieve it!! I've even selected wish dates for my sx I want this all gone no later than July 31, 2015! So I can be a Fabulous 42!! Even though I've sent off for other quotes. I really feel like he's the one! So after taking photos of myself I realized just how bad I look!! SMDH just horrible I can't wait to feel good about my body!!

Everybody is entitled to do and look the way they feel they want to. So if a BBL is what she wants, that's okay? Just like you working out to try to get yours off is okay too. I to am like you, I have been working my butt off to get my butt off...LOL! If you and I could give our butts away, we'd probably be rich, and could buy ourselves a whole new body?

Well, I don't have any to work off just work to stay small. I'm just concerned that when the big butt trend fades, some will be stuck with their enhancement

Go to Dr. Davoudi or Dr. Mark Crispin. Doing this research was a almost full time job for me for several months. I looked here and in DR. I don't like the risks and negative horror stories about DR. If you can go to FL, try Dr. Salama in Miami. Good luck.

So I had my appointment today with Dr. Davoudi I will definitely be going with him. He made me feel at ease and answered all my questions. If everything continues to go smoothly i will be on the flat side in 90 days!!!

For all I need lol.. $8000 He also does his surgery in the Hospital so there are additional fees for the that. He and his staff are great you will definitely love them!

Been talking to a new friend and we began discussing my upcoming plans. He says whats wrong with you? Why do u need that your not fat! That's a waste of money! I'm like look here this is what I'm doing for me no one else just me!! Get on board or keep it moving.

People don't understand, especially men. A woman's body goes through so many changes and all we want at the end of the day is to feel good and confident about ourselves. I told my husband its not about being sexy for other people. I just want to feel confident and sex in my own skin and right now I don't.

I agree with rh1265 that is why I am going with it... and doing it! What I hear is a lot of good and two somewhat bad reviews of my doc, that freaks me out!

That's the thing about cosmetics, since it's pay up front, the choice is all yours! Check that doc out. Just bc you have a date scheduled does not mean you are locked in. Make sure you're happy. It's a LOT of money and you are the one that lives with the results in a daily basis. Forever!
I have the opinion that a whole lot of what you see as bad reviews are sometimes that people do not follow instructions and smoke and do things they are told not to do. Not specifically from these surgeries but surgeries in general. I have seen it so many times. Anyway, It's you choice so make it good!

I know that's right! We as women sacrafice, and but everyone else in front of us, for so many other reasons. I am proud that you told "Mr. Lover" to get on board or "keep it movin!" You deserve this, and I know this is something your deserve! Please keep me posted and let me know how things go for you. I will be having my procedure August 13th, so keep me in your thoughts as well.

You're absolutey right! But if you were giving them that same amount of money to buy some sort of item, that us women think they don't need, it would be completely fine? It's not for anyone to understand, nor comprehend why we choose to have cosmetic surgery, as long as WE have done our research and are at peace with this life changing decision, that to me is ALL that matters!

I agree with the ladies...no matter how big or small the change we're taking our bodies through, we are doing this for the betterment of ourselves. I'm sure we can all think of many ways we can spend this money but it starts with us first, we've done so much for others and in the midst we forgot about ourselves, which is how some of this weight snuck up on us. My husband is on board but has also asked was I going up leave him afterwards, I'm like child please, this change isn't about trying to find anyone else, if the next dude couldn't love me as is, why would I try to accommodate him by looking a certain type of way, this change is for Kim! I salute all of you ladies for taking this stance to do what you feel is best for you and for opening up your private lives to all of us...good luck
