I am currently awaiting my surgery date which is this Wednesday, March 18 . The doctor I chose to use has put me on a diet of no solids for 1 week. I have ordered my vegetable juices from Arden's Garden and Kroger has sell on Muscle Milk 4 packs this week. I have not eaten since Wednesday with the exception of some awesome soup from a local restaurant in my area which was purely a vegetable stew. Best soup I ever ate in my life. Thanks to the life the vegetable juices gives to you I have made it this far. I feel holistically better and owe it to the cleansing that doctor has recommended. I have even lost 7 pounds in the last 4 days. He stated that the reason for this diet is to make sure that he is able to get me as tight as possible. I am all about getting my money's worth. I just need to really keep my head up about this whole process because I am getting just a little nervous about the recovery. I hope that my body heals and is back to normal in a snap.

Just finished cooking meals for the fam and ironing clothes for the week so that I am not feeling stressed a out anything at the home front. I drank a glass of "Smooth Move" tea, but I haven't really gone to the bathroom in 4 days. I am not feeling constipated, but a little concerned because I am pretty regular.
I have gotten so many comments today including from my mom saying... You don't look like you need anything done...Your stomach has gone down, however I know the hidden secret....I am very much excited now, and look forward to Wednesday. I need to post pictures...will do so tomorrow.

I'm two days behind you, on Friday. I passed the hospital about an hour ago and I got nervous, excited, and anxious all at once. I'm so ready for it to be over, just to rid myself of the "unknown". You know what I mean? I really like the muscle milk. I thought it was going to be gross but it's quite tasty. The colder the better. Best wishes. Warm up his surgeon hands for me.

So despite my swelling, I am pleSed with my results this far. I had both drains removed at week 2 and then 2 days later I left town via airplane to visit my new niece. I did well on plane however experienced Amit of swelling during the week. I was prescribed and steroid pack and water pills however they didn't do much for me. It wasn't Til I got home a week later hat I decided to go the homeopathic route cause I was experiencing so much pain. The vitamin shop manager suggested that I eliminate meats and dairy for a week or s and take some supplements to help with the did of toxins. I then got advice from a friend of mine to try lymphatic therapy. Boy did that help loosen up the swelling. I went back to work this week and am back to my vegan diet. I am hoping the four therapy sessions and this no meat voyage will speed the healing process.

That's weird. Dr Davoudi suggested lymphatic massages for me as soon as we are sure my seroma has dried up. I'm so looking forward to the massages. I heard they really help.

I had the same puckering. It flattens out over time. I am 4 months post-op and the puckering is gone. That puckering comes from cinching the skin to give that hourglass waist.
