Today I am having my Panniculectomy with Incisional and Umbilical Hernia repair. I'm down to 197 pounds since having my Gastric Sleeve in 2015. My weight before the Gastric Sleeve surgery was 337 pounds so I'm proud of my progress. It has been an exciting journey and I'll update you after surgery.

Recovering from Panniculectomy

I had my final drain removed on yesterday and now I can actually take a shower. My surgeon was very specific regarding now showering or taking a bath as long as my drains were in. I am so happy that I followed her instructions because they wanted to make sure I didn't get any infections. The swelling is going down some so that is good news. I still have to be careful and take it easy for the next few weeks.

Before and After

I am finally getting around to uploading some photos of how my stomach looked before and after my Panniculectomy. The transformation is amazing and I feel so much better. Although I am still swollen, I can see how much the surgery has already changed my appearance. I know that when all of the swelling and bruising is gone, I will be totally satisfied with the results. I had an amazing surgeon who is taking great care of me.

Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Lawrence is an amazing surgeon and she takes pride in her work. I would recommend her to anyone seeking to have surgery. My stomach looks amazing and I don't have a muffin top and my belly button is awesome even with the sutures just being removed on yesterday. Dr. Lawrence is a perfectionist and I wouldn't change a thing.
