Seroma.... Oh my!!!

WORTH IT$1
So I was getting in the shower last night and felt a little swollen in the lower abdominal/pubic area. I slightly tapped it and got the waterbed affect. Big big bummer. So I called the office first thing and they told me to come on in. The doctor confirmed it was a seroma, numbed me up, and drained 45cc. Now I'm feeling even more swollen. Ugh I think I just need a pitty party day. I am so sick of binders... And spanx. But it'll all be worth it soon enough. I should just be thankful this is the biggest "complication" I have had.

The seroma was back within a couple hours. It's so small but still there. I have an appointment Tuesday to have it drained again. She said I would most likely have to have it done once a week for three weeks. I feel swollen but don't think I am. The seroma is LOWER abdominal area, mostly pubic. Thanks for the support.

Goodness it seems like yesterday, but then again like forever ago.
But I'm feeling great. Finally got the second drain out last Monday. So 3 weeks 3 days post op. I did have a tiny bit of swelling after it was removed but no sign of hematoma or seroma. Thank The Lord.
She said my breast are way ahead of the game in the healing process. So that made me feel great. They're barely tender anymore. I'll post the few pics that I have.

Feeling great. Went back to work after two weeks. Totally could have gone back sooner if I didn't work a job that requires me to be very active and on my feet all day.
Breast are hypersensitive and sore but looking great. I'm pretty sure it's just ths nerves reconnecting or whatever it is they have to do. I am using skinmedica scar recovery gel, and the scars look amazing.
My tummy looks great. FLAT. But still numb and super funny feeling. I
Still have one JP tube in. I feel like its never coming out. It's such a nuance. But better than the alternative I guess. It's really just trying to dress around it. I switched from using the skinmedica scar recovery gel on that scar and am now using silicon strips. Just because it was looking a little raised in a couple areas but for the most part, looking great. Love how low it is.
I'm supposed to go tomorrow to have the drain removed but I still don't have 3 consecutive days under 30 cc. Waahh. So I guess I will be canceling that appointment in the morning.
Oh yes. I feel like my thoughts and butt are huge. Thinking its swelling? Or the fact I have been out of the gym for THREE WEEKS NOW :(
Can't wait to be normal again and do normal things. But looking better while doing them.
