Hello All,
Just giving a post op update with pictures. It's been 7 months. Overall I'm pleased with my results. I want to give some tidbits to those considering smart lipo...this is NOT a fix all. I gained 14 lbs after surgery because I was still eating horribly. Over the last month I've been eating better and am now 8 lbs away from my preop weight. Also...you'll notice that I have areas on the sides of my abdomen that looked a little dipped in. These are pockets that have little to no fat. If I continue to eat right and work out...I think I can handle those areas. Feel free to ask me questions about my journey. Good luck!

Here is my 4 month update. There is change...but just not enough for me. I'm trying to be snatched! I'm considering having more done.

what is your height/weight? did doc say anything about how much visceral fat you have? I see a difference but it is subtle! hope you are feeling well and recovering well also ^.^

I have fully recovered... didn't have any issues. I only have very minimal numbness in my lower abdomen. When I went to a follow up with him a few weeks ago he told me my upper abdomen seems to have visceral fat

I can definitely tell a difference! If you were looking for a different/more result, discuss with your surgeon about a revision or potentially talk to other surgeons to gather their opinion. That will help you decide on moving forward with another surgery if you choose to do so. Good luck!

There is definitely change..just not as much as I was expecting... I'm still disappointed

I am scared I will have the same results a you. Not much change. My doc did tell me for best results to have a tummy tuck. I have had 2 kids and I just didn’t want the scare. I am currently 2 days post op. I posted my pictures and reviews up. I hope for results but girl, I say get a revision or another docs

I would DEFINITELY wait to have children if you plan to before a tummy tuck. Pregnancy will ruin the results and you will have to have it done all over again. Something to consider for sure. Your plastic surgeon would probably advise the same.

Yesterday made 1 month...even though it feels longer lol. I still feel pretty much the same about my results...i do feel/look smaller but I just was expecting more. And yes I know...I need to be more patient lol but seriously, am I being unreasonable with my expectations? anyway here are my 1 month pics

I just hit my one month mark too. Just keep going and look at your before pictures for inspiration!

You are smaller. I'm sure you wanted to see even more, but I hear it takes time. I have realized that the back rolls I still have probably will stay and I will need a tummy tuck if I want a flat stomach.
I'm finding that the swelling takes time and the compression garment helps. Is your garment really tight? I think that makes a difference, mine is really tight.

I'm impatient too lol
I'm so badly wanting the rest of my back fat to go away but it's still there. I'm hoping it's just swelling but I don't think so.
We have to be patient, it's a process.

I can see the difference. Thank you for sharing. I'm having a similar procedure and have a similar body type. Do u know how much was removed?
