After a few consultations with HT doctors in the...

After a few consultations with HT doctors in the area (state of GA), I opted to take the plunge with Dr. Anderson. The main reasons I chose Anderson as opposed to others is due to his high level of expertise in the area of hair loss as well as his ability to make you feel COMFORTABLE. I mean, it seems like the man eats, breathes and sleeps hair transplants and hair loss treatment. Any claim or opinion he has made to me about hair loss prevention and treatment is based on scientific studies and peer reviewed journal articles. You can depend on him to give it to you straight and he took the situation with my hair loss very seriously, as if it was his own head of hair! I knew the HT would be personalized to fit me and it wouldn't be the same anyone else. I can only assume he is this way with each and every one of his patients. He is an experienced doctor and has experienced techs performing the surgery with him. My advice is to make an appointment for a consultation as you have nothing to lose and at the end of the consult you will know (for good or for worse) the real deal with your specific and personalized hair loss situation.

Now concerning my own experience with the HT procedure, it was a breeze. I opted to go with fue (Artas) as opposed to the strip procedure for multiple reasons. Mainly its ability to allow flexibility with my hair styling. I am a relatively young and I still like to wear it super short in the back and the fue (Artas) allows that. I have JUST ABOUT ZERO visible scarring in my donor area and I am only 7 weeks post operation. I also shave the back of my head with a 1/2 guard weekly and like I said there is about zero visible scarring. The actual procedure itself from beginning to end is painless. Painless. You feel the first stick of local anesthesia then from there you do not feel a thing. This was probably the most surprising aspect of the experience for me. Very efficient and technical procedure. I was all healed up after about 10 days post operation and 7 weeks in I am just waiting for hair to grow (I believe it has already started to grow as a matter of fact).

I would like to add one additional note which I find to be important. I have been pretty neurotic and paranoid about my hair ever since the procedure (probably unreasonably and more-so than others) and Dr. Anderson has been there every step of the way. I would say in the 7 weeks since I did the procedure I have called him on about 10 separate occasions with various questions about what is taking place on my head and every single time I received a call back from him personally the same day. I have also wanted to come in to the office on a few separate occasions (unscheduled) to have him take a look at it and each time he has accommodated me, same day.

Make a consultation and see for yourself!
