Several years in and still numb

Just a quick update.... my cheek implants are great and I still love them. Only issue is one that happened during the revision of my right cheek. The nerve was hit by the titanium screw...or something like that happened... and the right side of my face (skin) now feels “asleep.” Like what your hand or leg feels when it gets the circulation cut off. Dr Robb felt that it would heal over time and even though it feels weird it was manageable. Several years later, it’s still numb and tingly to the touch on the right side of my face from the eye down. I don’t think it will ever change unless I take them out and even then I’m not sure if the nerve damage will get better.
I am not willing to take them out right now, but I would not be opposed to going back in and trying to move that screw....

I still love my cheek implants, but after 2 years I still needed a small face lift (aka weekend lift) and I went back to Dr Robb for the procedure. Please check out my Weekend Lift Review with Dr Robb Jr. for more and too see updated pictures.

On Dr Robb Jr’s RealSelf page he has pictures of my before and after available on his profile. Please check them out! They are also on his Instagram page!! @robbfacialplasticsurgery
I had another follow up with him today so he might post some updated pictures of me soon. I can tell you that I look amazing and the before and after pictures are phenomenal. Everyone asks me if I’ve lost weight or talks about how great I look....but they just can’t figure out what’s different.
My cheek implants have really settled and look so natural now. Dr Robb Jr really nailed this and helped me get the face I wanted.
Now, I’m looking into Dr Robb Jr doing my liplift and I can’t wait to start a review on that! He really is an amazing doctor!
