Okay, so I'm two days post op and it's getting better. It was rough... it always feels like something is going to pop. I have one drain and it's driving me crazy. The IV sedation wasn't bad, I went in, he stuck me, she gave me meds. I woke up and we were done. 3hrs later and I was on the flat side.. he removed 7lbs of fat from my abdomen...so now I'm going to chill out and my first appt is thursday

So close and the closer I get the more nervous I get. I want to sleep in my bed. Does anyone have advice? Old sheets and chxks? Just chxks?

I slept in my bed from about day 3 or 4. I'm a side sleeper and it was literally impossible for the first little bit. I had an electric reclining couch so I didn't have to buy/rent one. For bed, I got a wedge pillow to keep my upright somewhat and LOTS of pillows!! It wasn't the pain of the surgery that was stopping me. It was the lipo on the flanks! That pain lasted longer than anything! I'm 3.3 weeks out and there are still a couple small areas tender to deep touch. I didn't drain onto the bed at all because I had a drain until day 19. If you're doing drainless, I'd suggest getting either disposable or reusable large absorbent pads to sleep on. I've read some people can drain and others don't so it's hard to say in advance. I just prepped for everything. Lol
