Twenty weeks...almost!

Hard to believe it was that long ago! Nothing major to report. I did notice two lumps on incision site about six weeks ago. I freaked but my adept PS said it was scar tissues and injected something and told me to give hard rub and within four hours... it was gone!!
Saying that to say, it is no use freaking out over every change. It is best and much easier to
discuss with your PS as they have seen the full gamut of what could happen (except for some few exceptional situations).
One thing I have learnt also is contentment with my results. Sometimes, looking at others results, it is easy to wish for same not acknowledging where you started from and losing focus of your initial goal.
I wanted to have perkier boobs that I can put on a swimsuit or T-shirt and be comfortable. I achieved that.
I wish they were tauter but a fifty year old boobs that has breast fed our children can only do so much. Reality is that PS can not change
quality of skin...elasticity and collagen. At least that is my understanding.
I am happy and it has increased my confidence significantly. Of course, I now wish for flatter stomach but not ready to go under knife for that.. lol ????

I am very bad at selfies. Hubby will not take pic of my boobs either. We are old school. Anyway, I wanted to show my scar. Looks worst in pic. I have been using biocorneum and scar away silicone tapes. The cream I use religiously twice a day and the tape I use for three days and take a day off.

Tenth week

I am still thrilled about my girls!! They are not twins.. they have different personalities it seems. The Right dropped weeks ago and I am still coaxing lefty. I was afraid I was developing CC about three weeks ago. My PS said I needed to be more aggressive with massage etc.
I could feel a hardening lump right at the top and it seems like it was pinning the implant down and stopping any movement. The bottom felt squishy and empty and squarish.
This is what eventually worked for me
1. The pushing down massaging by both myself and husband
2. Sleeping face down really pressing down on lefty and supporting righty with pillow.
3. Pectoral exercises.. mostly grabbing door frame and pushing into a good stretch.
It moved in about three days of those regimen.
4. I started taking singulair once a day.
I seriously believe that if I had not been aggressive I would have developed CC or just failure to drop and revision surgery.
If you are just starting your journey, be diligent about massaging as instructed by your PO. Use arnica gel, pellets etc.
I am still massaging both. Still stretching the pectorals because I don’t think they are fully aligned in pockets.
The nipples are slowly getting the melanin back. It is a process but don’t dismiss any concern. Check with your PS and get answers.
Off to the beach to test these built-in flotation devices...lol.

Thanks for your detailed update! You’ve had quite a turnaround since your earlier updates. Glad you are happy with your results so far. It also sounds like your efforts paid off to prevent the cc from getting worse. It’s kind of difficult to seeing your pics but how are your scars doing? Are you doing any kind of scar therapy? Happy healing!
