After 12 years of being a mommy I am finally doing it! When my only child was born I breast fed for 3 months, taking me from a 34b to a D. After getting into serious shape, my poor boobies were taxed and deflated. :( I am back to a 34 B now. 34 years old, 5'4" 121lbs. I have a moderate bubble butt and Athletic build with active lifestyle including wakeboarding and weightlifting. After inquiring on ladies with work done over the years throughout the Atlanta area Colgrove's name came up a few time with praises. I visited him 3 times and booked last week.
My dilemma and hesitation lies in the size. Have I chose the right one? I want to look natural and proportionate, not top heavy. One doctor I saw told me not to go over 320cc. Colgrove said 400 would be a nice size. After 5 times of trying on sizers in all kinds of bras and clothes.. In pictures.. With opinions.. It's all so awkward. I am closing in on the # but still want advice. It's so hard for me to invision this. I have read blogs, viewed before and afters and testimonials, polled all my knowledgable friends for weeks now. The most common negative feedback is ladies say they wish they had gone larger. My fear, in relation to two other friends' who's boyfriends persuaded them to go larger than they should have, is they will not fit me, and potentially cause stretching, back pain, or make my short torso look even squattier. Thus, leading to another surgery.
I chose the Mentor Smooth Silicone Moderate Plus Profile. What will the # need to be to get from 34b to a D? I don't want a DD.
Thank you so much for you insight and advice!!

Thanks miss cris.. Hope that helps. My doc told me yesterday my frame will take 150-200 CCs per cup size. Where you an A? What are your stats? What did you end up with?

You have more breast tissue than I had I'm no ps but my guess is 400ccs would probably get u to a d .

It hard to say what cc amount will get you to a D cup; the same amount off cc on one woman than on another will look differently; you can continue trying on sizers and even make rice sizers at home to see what cc amount you are comfortable with; whatever size u choose add 50cc to it because if you go under the muscle you will lose 50 cc;

My surgeon told me to bring pics of augmented breast that I liked and didn't like. We chose the size and profile based on that. My surgery was 2 Weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with my results.

I had my surgery yesterday and everything went well. I decided on the 400s and glad I did do far! Dr Colgrove and the nurse were patient, helpful and informative. I am so excited to try on my clothes and suites when the pain subsides!!
