My post op course---5 weeks out
I ultimately had 300 cc silicon implants placed under the muscle. I had a BA only, no additional surgeries. Prior to the surgery, we had discussed anywhere from 300 to 350 cc, but that this might be limited by the fact that I didn't have a lot of loose skin, and so forth. Plus, I wanted to look as natural as possible. Immediately post op and for the next several days, I did experience a very uncomfortable full feeling in my chest area. This was controlled with Percocet, which I only needed the first couple of days (and I was basically useless those first 2 days--it hurt to laugh and I couldn't really move my arms without discomfort). After that, though, the pain improved and I only had to take ibuprofen. I also used Arnica and Bromelian supplements for about 5 days as Dr. Jones suggested. After 48 hours, I was out of the surgical binder and into a sports bra with a zipper closure. Probably approximately a week later I developed hypersensitivity in my nipples because of the nerves being stretched, but with massage a couple times a day, this finally resolved after roughly 2 weeks. I was advised to keep the steristrips on my incision due to my darker skin tone. These eventually fell off on their own at about 5 weeks out from surgery. The incision looks good at this point, he says, and I am putting Mederma and Vitamin E oil on the incision daily. The implants at this point have dropped noticeably and are looking better, but do have a little more settling to do. I started off at a 34 A or so, and it's looking like a 34 full C at this point. I am very pleased with how things are looking.
I decided to stop dreading another swimsuit season...
I decided to stop dreading another swimsuit season and stop wishing I could wear certain clothing because I could do something about it. I am so glad I did! I wanted a size that complemented me--not too small, but not too big, either. I didn't want it to be glaringly obvious that I'd had surgery, I just wanted to look the way I envisioned myself looking. The process was a lot easier than I thought it would be. Everyone involved was professional, nonjudgemental and polite.

He has a great eye. Prior to my procedure, we had of course discussed what I was looking for, but hadn't decided on an exact number of CCs. I couldn't be happier with the result. It's perfect for my body type. Dr. Jones himself is very personable. He answered whatever questions I had patiently and thoroughly. He gives good clear instructions, answers whatever questions I had--however small--and there is good post op follow up. I am very satisfied with the entire process.
