Decided against BA

gracie621
$5,690
It's been a long time since I last updated!

I decided after Hurricane Harvey's situation and after I lost the weight I wanted to lose, my boobs look bigger on their own by just having a flatter tummy!

I MIGHT get a BA later after I have kids, but for now I think I enjoy having a light top so when I go hiking/jogging, they don't get in the way.

I hope everyone who had their BA is recovering and is happy with their new girls! <3

Potential Delay for BA (Hurricane Harvey)

gracie621
Hey y'all,
Although I will still go to my consultation in November, I might have to postpone my mentally-planned BA in December :(
So I currently live in Alabama, but my hometown is Houston, TX where Hurricane Harvey hit really hard. I was supposed to go home for September and October to work and hopefully get enough money to pay for the surgery (full cost up front), rent, and other bills, but it looks like with the flood devastation, clients likely have cancelled (understandably so) and it's physically impossible to drive to client locations anyway.
I'm doing my part to donate my business services (which I won't mention for privacy) to fund raise and donate all proceeds to Houston and put my breast augmentation money at the back burner for now.
Although I feel bummed about potentially not getting my BA done this December, I can always get it done later. My hometown needs help now. This is the worst Houston has ever experienced---worse than Tropical Storm Allison in 2001. I feel very sad. I have my grandma, aunt and uncle stuck in their house upstairs because their downstairs is flooded. The street where my parents house is got flooded but luckily not badly. The water has receded some today at least.
For those of y'all who got a BA and are in Houston recovering after your surgery during this hurricane, I hope y'all have a speedy recovery and that y'all are safe.

I’m sorry hear your family was affected by the hurricane! I hope everything is somewhat back to normal. Are you still planning to go through with BA. I am Asian too and I know what you mean about the whole family against anything that’s “unnatural”! I originally intended to have mine done under the crease, but now that I’m seeing most Asians have it done tranaxillary, I’m rethinking my options. Well, I hope to see your update and that we continue our journey to bigger breasts together lol. I plan to do it 4/18.

Rice Sizers and Updated Price Estimate

gracie621
Hello!

So I made some rice sizers that simulated approximately 285cc (1.25 cups of rice) which is totally convenient since I'm Asian and constantly have rice available in the house LOL.

I tried going to Target to look for a 32D bra but they didn't carry that size in any of the brands or styles they offer at my location. They stopped at 32C, which they only had 2 available among 5-6 different racks full of bras, but they had 34D readily available.

So before work, I decided to swing by Nordstrom Rack, since last week I was there, they had plenty of 32D's. I tried on a Calvin Klein wired non-padded 32D bra with the sizers I carried in my purse.

Originally I felt self conscious having visibly small boobs and walking into the fitting room for the attendant to see I have 32D's in my hands. I was irrationally worried that she might be confused why I'm trying on a size far too large for me, but luckily the attendant just told me to go in lol.

I really like how these sizers look on me. It's not too big where I look fake, and it's not too small where I don't see a difference. And I tried them on under that black shirt shown in the attached picture, and tried them on under a loose blouse.

My boobs with sizers didn't look suspicious under the loose shirt at all, which is good, so that when I'm around my mom and family, they shouldn't be able to notice. It just looks like I'm wearing a padded bra. But as you can see, if I wear something tight like the black shirt, the size shows.

I have a problem with my mom and her extended family knowing because they love to lecture about anything and love to lecture about "natural" stuff. I don't think I'll be telling them at all, not even when I'm about to go under the knife. If anyone has similar family issues, please let me know how you dealt with them regarding your BA.

So about the price, I was originally quoted $5250, but it was later corrected to $5690 since they switched to a new billing system which supposedly made the original estimate wonky.

I did notice that in the original estimate, Mentor implants were there, but my updated one included a more expensive pair of Allergan implants. I haven't had my in person consultation yet to decide with Dr. Arslanian which implants we'll go for, so I was confused why it was decided in the estimate that I'll be getting the more expensive Allergans.

Overall I'm very excited to be getting this surgery! Hopefully I will have enough to pay in full up front so I can get my BA done this mid December. Otherwise I'll end up having a huge delay in surgery date cause my work is super busy March-July.

See y'all later!

BareNecessities.com for bras. They carry all the larger cup sizes. I didn't know you could do silicone through the armpit. Do you olan on getting UHP implants?

Thank you for the recommendation!

Yes, you can do silicone through the armpit, but I also requested to have it done using the Keller Funnel, which will make it slip into the breast pocket under the muscle easier and a smaller incision.

I have my in-person consultation on Nov. 21, so I will figure out which profile I'll be getting by then. I only had a Skype consultation so far. So in person, my doctor will measure my breast width and take into account the look I want and can figure out the profile from there :)
