Ok so I had a consultation today at the Swan...
WORTH IT$5,970
Ok so I had a consultation today at the Swan Center in Atlanta, GA. I work in the physician staffing world so I had thoroughly researched the docs at the facility previously. It also has helped that 2 of my co-workers recently got their BA from here as well. Which is also what sparked my re-interest in the procedure. I had a consultation when I lived in Savannah but unfortunately equine vet bills were picked over a BA.
Which is my other concern - currently working on training up my first competition horse that I started. He's still gaining some weight and is just learning how to be a normal horse. I'm worried about taking time off from his training and from my own. Anyone else out there ride horses and want to share their story?!?!
I spoke with my provider and she herself rides and has had a BA. So she pretty much told me I could go over the muscle if I wanted but then the implant had a chance to show through if I ever lost weight. Well I'm in the process of it now so I didn't want to risk it. Under the muscle she said if I baby it for 6 weeks I should have full use for riding by week 6. A little longer than I really want to be off the horse but maybe missing the super hot season here in Georgia isn't the worst thing ever. I'm also going to look into having another trainer work my horse once or twice a week so when I'm back up to speed so is he.
Another issue driving the urge to do everything now is wedding season is approaching. I've got Bachelorette parties and weddings fast approaching so I'd like to have them mostly settled in by the time the bridesmaid dresses are on. Right now if I wear anything strapless it has to be sooo tight or it just slides off the boobs. Lovely right?
I'm terrified of anesthesia - I've never had even a minor surgery. The worst I've had is a cavity. Any insight on what I'm looking at here. The procedure will be under General Anesthesia which I highly prefer. Knock me out till it's over.
My consultation I went in and was measured right at essentially a 36B or really a 38A. I need the band width but let's not joke there isn't any boob filling those cups. The doc did say I had good width at the top but noticed that my breasts are more muscle than fat - which I knew since even though I gained 25 pounds (relationship weight) none of it NONE went to my breasts. Pretty disappointing. We played with sizers and she said for my body size I'm average and could go as low as 275 if I wanted a very understated look or as high as 450 if I was shooting for some DD's.
My goal is for a modest C cup since I ride and golf I'd like to not have to completely readjust everything.
Playing with the sizers I put on 300cc and was blown away - all of a sudden there are boobs there! Like whoa that was quite a new look for me. Loved it. Played with 350s as well and I think I'll split the difference. I like the profile view of the 325's whereas I felt like 350s were a little large. I am worried though that I'll lose some of the volume going under the muscle and should just plunge in with the 350s.
I haven't chosen a profile since that'll be more for pre-op and my provider to figure out. She does the whole sit them up and study thing and she takes it pretty seriously. She's had her own BA so she knows the natural look that a lot of women go for.
Any opinions on the Care Credit 24 months interest free versus just putting it on my Amex?
Thanks Ladies!

Going back to try on other sizes
So I've been waffling since my consult. I wore a loose top like I wear now since there really isn't much to show off. I booked an appointment to go back this Monday and take forward facing photos and try on sizes again. Any questions I should ask?!

Sizing photos
These are the initial sizing photos I've got to get front ones - scheduled for that on Monday. Which I think is when I'll put down my deposit for my surgery!

Hey GeorgiaPeaches, Savannah girl myself! I think the 350 looks good and you do loose 25-50 cc's going under. I used Care Credit and did the no interest for 24 months.

How hard was it to get approved with Care Credit slash were they easy to set up the payments with? I've got good credit I just hatttte adding new inquiries!

Me too. It was very easy. Then you have a choice of which payment plan you want, there are several. I went with the no interest.

I'm having mine done at the Swan center. Had my pre-op yesterday, surgery scheduled for 6/19. I'm doing the care-credit 24 months. Depends on the interest rate of your amex. I am going to go ahead and get mine paid off in 12 months probably. They no longer offer the 12 months same as cash hence why I opted for the 24 months. I am going on our annual Mommy and Daddy trip to mexico 8/9 and wanted to make sure I was able to scuba dive. I re-arranged another vacation to push my surgery date up in June. I was originally going to do it the week of the 4th. PS said I would be fine to dive, just might need some assistance getting tanks on my back. I went in and was thinking a modest look, I honestly didn't think I would even do it- so we sized at 275cc to 300cc, I am 5'10 140lb. Decided after research that's not as much as I want. I resized again at preop with 375cc to 400cc and I am still not sure if that is big enough. I don't want to regret not going big enough, but want a natural proportional look. I am going with gummy's. I am letting PS make decision, we probably have the same one. Message me and we can't chat off line. I showed up for my preop at 1:30 and was there until about 3:15 to 3:30. A lot of paperwork to go over. Message me if you want to know who I am going with. A lot of non-disclosure paperwork about the practice and physicians signed yesterday :0)
Also I have done the rice test but I its still hard to tell but will kind of give you some idea.

RunMama, did you change your name? If either one of you wants to take a look at my pics, I did 425 cc's, MentorMemory gel, HP, under the muscle. I started off thinking I wanted 300-325. I didn't want to be really big. I just wanted a full C small D. That would not have given me a full B cup. Don't let the numbers scare you. Everyone is different. I am so glad I listened to my PS and did what he suggested the first day. I am exactly where I wanted and couldn't be happier with my results.

They look fantastic! The first consult is very overwhelming and since I never thought I would go through with it I had not done any research whatsoever.

Forgot to tell you I emailed my wish pictures to the nurse, they are already in my file :0)

Georgia, you have a lot more breast tissue pre surgery than I did, so it might not take as much for you as it did for me.
