Okay so after two years of it just being a thought, late August I decided "just do it". I researched doctors and decided to go for a consultation with dr.colgrove and it has been a pleasant experience since. My surgery was a pleasant experience, I had a great anesthesiologist, I literally was sleep as soon as the iv was put in. When I woke up I didn't remember where I was lol. But anywho the first day or two is painful but mainly because you can't move on your own, around day two or three you should be fine to move on your own. I am only 7 days post op but I really don't have any complaints other than sleeping on my back. I am in love with my results, I didn't have the "swollen neck/collarbone" that most women get. My breast also weren't sitting on my neck. I am just soooo ready for them to fully drop and become softer. Best decision I have made.

They look really great! What made you choose the ideal implant over silicone gel? Do you hear the sloshing from the saline?
Do they feel soft like the silicone? I'm going for my consultation with Dr. Colgrove next week. I'm so excited!

I chose the ideal saline over the silicone because I had done my research and decided that I would either go with saline that was safer if it ruptured or the silicone gummy that was safe if it ruptured as well (I still wouldn’t know but it wouldn’t move, making it less likely to go into my blood stream). One of the nurses at my consultation said that at my age I didn’t want the gummy, also the silicones have to be changed every 10 years; saline can last a life time. I do hear sloshing but I was informed it’s not the saline, my implants were pretty much maxed out so there’s no room to hear water moving. The ideal implant was originally made silicone and then the doctor made a saline version of it that feels pretty much the same and it has three shells opposed to the regular saline. I really love them I’m almost three weeks in and my breast already feel soft like prior. You’ll enjoy your consultation and everyone there is very sweet ❤️

Yes! These are the same reasons I'm leaning toward picking the Ideals. Do you know what bra size you are now? C or D?

So I was told that if you divide your cc’s by 1.75 or 2 depending on your chest, that it’ll tell you how many cup sizes you’ll go up. I haven’t went to get fitted yet, I decided to wait until a month. But I should be a full C but I’m thinking maybe a D because my old nursing bras are too small and I was a D then.

Thank you! Have yours dropped/fluffed anymore since the surgery? Are you still able to feel your nipples? (Something I'm really worried about..)

Yes they have my left boob is healing faster than my right and I’m almost positive it’s because I’m very dominant with my right. But each day I notice progression with both. So Dr.Colgrove only goes under your breast, so you will not lose feeling in your nipples. Everything feels the same and the healing process feels like you need to pump because your breast is full of milk. After awhile it’s just sore and a heavy feeling for a while but not shy pain.

Hey ! So I’m about 6 weeks out now and they feel GREAT. It’s not hard at all anymore and the swelling has gone down. Initially I would look in the mirror and say that I wish that I had gone bigger but I am sized at a 32 DDD although it doesn’t look like it at all.

They look great. I had my surgery on the 13th. They are softening up some. I went to Colgrove also. I chose him bc his reviews were great but he lacks personality.
