I AM SO HAPPY

I just wanted to add how happy I am because I don't think I stressed it enough lol. I hope my honesty does not discourage anyone. I just keep it real! But let me tell you sissys, I feel like a new woman! It's an amazing feeling. All my life I have been battling my skin condition and my body image and finally for the first time in my life I have found a treatment for my skin condition and I am healed AND now I have the body of my dreams! Thank you God!!!!!! :D

I walk by the mirror and I cant believe this is my body. I worked out and dieted for years and nothing worked. There is a such thing as stubborn fat and I had that on my stomach, sides and lower back. NOW its gone!!!! And I always had nice big thighs now I have a big ol juicy booty and hips to match!!! lol :D I always loved being naked now I realllyyy love being naked lol, and now I can wear all the sexy clothes I always wanted to wear yesssssssssss! Dr. Jimerson is a genius. He has talent like I've never seen before. I am so happy that I found him and chose him. He is truly a kind hearted person and I thank him a million times. I thank my new friends in ATL and family especially my mother who was there for me 100%. Even though I went through a hard time, I know it was worth it in the end. I feel amazing! Ladies, this is an amazing life changing experience!

THE RECOVERY PROCESS IS ROUGH! MUST READ!!!! HERE IS SOME IMPORTANT T POST-SURGERY!

IMPORTANT TIPS/ NOTES THAT I THINK EVERYONE SHOULD KNOW:

- ITS IS IMPORTANT TO START YOUR IRON EARLY AND GET YOUR BLOOD LEVEL/ IRON UP AS HIGH AS YOU CAN BECAUSE AFTER SX IT IS EXPECTED TO DROP BY A LOT. TWO WOMAN IN ATL THAT I MET HAD TO GET BLOOD TRANSFUSIONS AFTER SX, ANOTHER WOMAN'S BLOOD DROPPED TO A 5 WITHOUT EVEN KNOWING AND ANOTHER WOMAN ALMOST FAINTED AND PASSED OUT BECAUSE OF ANEMIA.

-NURSES AT THE HOSPITAL TOLD ME THAT THEY SEE MANY OF DR. JIMERSON'S PATIENTS. I DO NOT KNOW WHY BUT IT SEEMS LIKE WOMEN BECOMING SEVERELY ANEMIC AND DEHYDRATED AFTER SURGERY IS VERY COMMON AND THIS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS AND NEEDS TO BE KNOWN! AFTER SX, I SUGGEST DRINKING A LOT OF WATER AND GATORADE, GETTING YOUR BLOOD CHECKED TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE AND CONTINUE YOUR IRON ASAP.

- IF YOU FEEL SEVERE PAIN LIKE I DID IN MY HIP, GET IT CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY. SEVER PAIN AND SKIN THAT'S HOT AND HARD CAN INDICATE A PROBLEM.

-BEFORE SURGERY, MAKE SURE YOUR READ ALL OF YOUR PAPERWORK, RESEARCH, AND MAKE SURE YOUR ARE MENTALLY PREPARED FOR THIS.

-BEFORE SURGERY MAKE SURE YOU ARE PHYSICALLY PREPARED FOR THIS. FOR A WHILE I COULD NOT BEND OVER AND PICK THINGS UP ETC. BE PREPARED TO NOT BE ABLE TO DO MANY THINGS BY YOURSELF. YOU NEED SOMEONE TO TAKE CARE OF YOU OR AT LEAST HELP YOU FOR A WHILE. MAKE SURE IT IS SOMEONE YOU LIKE, TRUST AND SOMEONE WHO IS ATTENTIVE AND KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING. AS A INDEPENDENT PERSON, IT HAS BEEN HARD TO NOT BE ABLE TO DO EVERYTHING BY MYSELF. NOT SITTING OR LAYING ON YOUR BACK/SIDE IS TOUGH AS WELL. I HEARD DRIVING IS HARD BUT I HAVE NOT TRIED YET. MY HAND GRABBER, HARD HALF FOAM ROLL, AND CHAIR WITH A HOLE IN IT HAS HELPED ME A LOT TOO.

-AFTER SURGERY DRINK A LOT OF FLUIDS. IT SEEMS COMMON TO BECOME AUTOMATICALLY BECOME DEHYDRATED LIKE I DID. YOU WANT TO HYDRATE YOUR BODY AGAIN ASAP.

-A LOT OF RISKS COME WITH DOING THIS SURGERY, MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW UP WITH YOUR PRIMARY CARE DOCTOR AND GET EVERYTHING CHECKED OUT TO BE ON THE SAFE SIDE.

-AFTER SX, MAKE SURE YOU EAT HEALTHY AND EXERCISE TO MAINTAIN YOUR RESULTS. I HAVE HEARD STORIES ABOUT FAT RETURNING BECAUSE OF A POOR DIET AND LACK OF EXERCISE

-BEFORE SX, BE REALISTIC ABOUT THE RESULTS THAT YOU WANT. HE CANNOT CHANGE THE STRUCTURE OF YOU BUTT HE CAN ONLY FILL IT. I REALIZED THAT HOW "STRETCHY" YOUR SKIN IS IS VERY IMPORTANT BECAUSE THAT DETERMINES HOW MUCH FAT HE CAN FIT IN YOUR BUTT. IF YOU ARE ON THE SMALLER SIDE AND WANT A DRAMATIC CHANGE I SUGGEST YOU GAIN WEIGHT LIKE I DID IT MAY BE HARD BUT IT WILL BE ALL WORTH IT IN THE END!

-MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT RESOURCES YOU HAVE. DR. JIMERSON OFFERS INSURANCE FOR THE FIRST 30 DAYS. DON'T FORGET!

-IF YOU EVER HAVE ANY QUESTIONS, CONCERNS ETC. ALONG THE WAY DON'T EVER BE AFRAID TO CALL THE OFFICE OR GO TO THE HOSPITAL. NEVER BE TOO ASHAMED OR EMBARRASSED TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL. YOU KNOW YOUR BODY THE BEST AND IF YOU FEEL LIKE SOMETHING IS WRONG GO TO THE DOCTOR ASAP. I MET A WOMAN WHO WAS SEVERELY ANEMIC AND DID NOT WANT TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE SHE DID NOT WANT PEOPLE TO LOOK AT HER AS IF SHE WAS COMPLAINING TOO MUCH. SHE FELT AWFUL AND ALMOST PASSED OUT WHEN SHE FINALLY WENT TO THE HOSPITAL IT TURNED OUT SHE HAD TO GET A BLOOD TRANSFUSION. I SAY THIS TO SAY, NEVER HESITATE TO GO TO THE HOSPITAL!

-DR. JIMERSON IS AN AMAZING DOCTOR. I GENUINELY LOVE HIM AND I AM SO THANKFUL. HOWEVER, I THINK HE NEEDS MORE HELP IN HIS OFFICE, STARTING WITH A BIGGER STAFF. THE OFFICE IS SO BUSY THAT IT IS HARD TO EVEN GET THROUGH TO ANYONE ON THE PHONE AND I FEEL LIKE THE PATIENTS DESERVE MORE ATTENTION. I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MEDICAL RECORDS IN THE MAIL AND I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED A FOLLOW-UP CALL THAT I WAS SUPPOSE TO RECEIVE LAST WEEK. THE AFTERCARE AT APSS NEEDS TO BE BETTER. I UNDERSTAND THEY ARE VERY BUSY BUT PATIENTS COME FIRST. I THINK THEY NEED MORE SPACE AND A BIGGER STAFF ASAP. ON A POSITIVE NOTE, I THANK DR. JIMERSON AND NURSE KIM FOR CHECKING ON ME AFTER I WAS HOSPITALIZED. I REALLY APPRECIATE THAT!

I WILL ADD MORE LATER IF I THINK OF ANYTHING! GOD BLESS YOU ALL AND THANK YOU AGAIN FOR THE LOVE AND SUPPORT! XOXO

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR CHECKING ON ME LADIES! I'M MUCH BETTER NOW.

Hi Ladies!

First off, I want to apologize for not updating and responding. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart to everyone who checked on me!!! I really appreciate it. God bless you! xoxo

I had my sx with Dr. Jimerson on July 17, 2013. The day of surgery I was very swollen and sore but I felt way better than I thought I would have.

The second day was very different. I suddenly felt DRAINED and WEAK. Also, immediately my right hip was hurting more than any other part of my body. Nurses and Dr. Jimerson looked at it and said it looked fine. One night I felt extra drained, weak, drowsy and had a major head ache on one side of my head so I decided to go to the hospital just to be on the safe side and good thing I did because it turned out that I was anemic and dehydrated. I stayed at the hospital in Atlanta for 2 days. Dr. Jimerson even came to visit me at the hospital. He came in my hospital room like he was dad and took his time to talk to me and make sure I was okay. He is such a sweet heart and I that really meant a lot to me. Dr. Jimerson is very talented, profession and caring! Thank you Dr. J! At the hospital, I received fluids via IV and was prescribed iron supplements when I left the hospital. Thank God my mom came to Atlanta and stayed with me until it was time to fly back home.

The plane ride was okay, I kneeled in my seat but take off and landing was rough. I tried to sit on a yoga mat with my thighs but it didnt help me since it is soft, my weight just pushed it town so that made my butt touch the sit so I just had to squat and hold my body up with my arms.

When I got home it felt so good to be home and sleep in my own bed with my mom still by my side. However, my right hip area was STILL hurting and now it was very painful and hard. It became so painful that I began to have a feeling that something was wrong. I called the office and I described to the nurse the pain I was feeling. I told her it was hot to the touch and once I said that she said it should not be and I need to get checked out ASAP. Thank God she told me this because I went to the ER that night and thank God I did! Long story short, it turned out that i had a bacteria infection (2 abscesses) in my hip/ buttocks area. I had to stay in the hospital for 5 nights. First I received antibiotics via IV, then I had two drains inserted which drained out the fluid in the abscesses. In addition to the drains, I was on oral antibiotics for a week to kill the bacteria. The bacteria infection is now gone and I am now completely healed! Thank you God!!!!

These last two months have been very rough and I want to be honest with you ladies and tell you that this recovery process is ROUGH. I dont say this just because of what I went through. I met other ladies in Atlanta who were also having a very rough time (two in which had to have blood transfusions). Everyone is different so everyone's experience will be different but please believe me when I say this process is no joke. My body felt like I got hit by a car. It's a soreness type of pain mixed with some shooting nerve pains and burning sensations, it's hard to explain really. Ladies, be sure that you are both physically and mentally ready for this discomfort and know that even if you do everything right and follow directions perfectly, complications still can occur. I thank God that the infection is gone, I am okay and I feeling more and more like myself every day.

On a positive note, I am very please with my results! My stomach is very flat, love handles and back roll gone and my butt looks sooo good, nice projection and nice and round! I love my body!!!!! I am now experiencing the "fluffing" its getting jiggly and soft and I love it!

I do not come on here often but I will try my best to answer any questions etc. I want to help as many BBL sisters as I can and I am so thankful for the BBL sisters who helped me and those who checked on me. Today makes exactly 2 months since my sx and I feel SO MUCH better! The only areas that I still really sore is my stomach, sides, lower back. I feel much more energized and flexible and I started light exercises. THANK YOU again and again ladies, I wish everyone the best! I hope my blog has and will help many women going through this. My next update will be a list of important tips/ notes that I feel like everyone should know, hope you find them helpful! XOXO

I originally saw Dr. Jimerson on the T.I. And Tiny show he immediately caught my eye because of his professionalism and skills. I researched more information about him from different sources, read reviews on him and looked at photos of his work. His work is amazing! He really has a eye for a nice butt and I think that is very important. I have read nothing but good reviews about him and I even read about many success stories on this website who worked with him. I will continue to rate him after my procedure on July 17, 2013.
