BBL with Dr. Andrew Jimerson - Atlanta, GA

First and foremost I just wanted to extend all the patients that took time out to write reviews for Dr. Jimerson. It was very helpful to me and very beneficial. These reviews are what made me make up my mind in choosing which doctor I was going to book. Therefore I feel that I owe it to everyone else to do the same. For over 10 years I have been dying to do this procedure (i am 31). This is not something I just thought of overnight. I have given this thought for quite a long time. Now that I have the cash, and all my finances are right, I am choosing to do this.
When I thought of having this procedure I naturally googled every doc in NY. After having numerous (over 25 consults with NY docs) i realized they were NOT at all experts in this category. I saw DR. Shahine (10k) but he had many bad reviews and he is not a plastic surgeon he is a GYN. I saw Dr. Basil (he only wanted to do abdomen/flanks to the Butt for (10k). I saw all his staff that "supposedly" did the procedure with him and they were all flat like pancakes and the only thing I noticed on them were that he removed their flanks therefore It looked a little rounded. (but not 10k worth), next I intereveiwed Dr. Jones/Dr. Bienstock on Lexintong Avenue. (13K) they do not have alot of expierience behind their belts. I refuse to be their ginea pig. They also charge 1000 extra from PRP (plasma something...). Another gimmic.
I consults with Dr. Taranov which seemed to be very knowledgeable but again, these "white doctors' just dont know how to give you a shapely hourglass figure because this is not beautiful for them. Ladies keep in mind, your surgery has to be what you want not what the doc things is beautiful. What steered me away from Dr. Taranov is the uneveness of the waistlines in some of his patients. He assured me that He can get 4 liters of fat out of me and that he could give me one liter of fat into me. Anyway, as I kept googling, Dr. J came up. I was immediately impressed with his pictures. I gave him a call, and of course he was booked through 2014.-- Even for free consults. When I called again, they booked me for a consult for 2/2014 and I said ok. Aparently, I called again and they made a mistake and they called me on the same day but this year 2/2013. The informed me that prices did go up becuase of his feature on the show and talk shows, radio shows etc. In any case I already had the pictures sent to them and Michelle (his consultant) called me to let me know that the BBL was 10,300 and that hips were 1,150 and additional lipo on other areas was 950. (12,400 total) paying cash (11,900) So i opted for the additional bra roll lipo. His price included full abdomen, flanks, and lower back with the transfer. So i paid extra for the Bra roll. In any case I told her that I was only availiable for Spring break becuase of school.
I did not want to go to ATL for surgery for the summer because I work and I did not want to be 'out of commission for the whole 3 weeks in summer". My idea of doing this in march is so that I can look fabulous for summer 2103. In any case She said no, he was booked through 2014. So i said Ok Michelle, do me a favor, Im willing to pay cash up front if you can gaurentee me for march 2013 if someone calls and cancels. The next few weeks passed I got a call from Michelle, stating that someone cancelled and that If I can pay cash (depoit in the companys chase account today) shed give me that slot. I was estatic and I jumped on it. The same night I booked my flight and I am going. I am staying with a friends family that agreed to watch over me. So basically now the countdown continues. I have my preop on 3/22 (becuase they are closed on the weekends) and My surgery is on 3/25 on that monday. I will post pictures that will show my transformation. Keep in mind ladies.. I am 31. I am 5'6 and I am currently 163 pounds. I have one child. I have never done plastic surgery before.
FYI: they are closed on the weekends and i have a...
Maybe past patients can answer:
1: If you had to fly (2 hrs) how did you do it?
2: are the massages necessary if so for how long/frequency of it? Does anyone recommend any good ones in NY/Georgia?
3: How many garments does DR. J give?
4: When can I resume sex?
5: Does anyone recommend scar creams?
6: How long does it take before lipo incision scars become invisible?
7: Is surgery done at the consult premises?
8: When can I bathe?
any advice much needed and appreciated. Thanks.
