What have you been taking for the pain? I've been doing more research on the recovery part then the pre-op! I'm so nervous about my mobility and how I'm going to be able to sleep!! What hurts the most? Butt or tummy ?

Agreed! Not sure of the look you're going for but I would show him your wish pic then say "plus some" because you'll lose some volume in the first 3-4 weeks.

Your lipo'd areas hurt the most. Make yer you take the massages and post op serious. Low sodium foods will help keep the swelling at min. What areas are you having lipo'd?

How many massages did you pay for ? I was told $80 if you go into the office $100 if it's an off site visit. I was also told my hubs will get trained so that he can perform them. Lipo areas- back flanks tummy Considering adding back bra roll but felt I could work on that myself

Oxy the first 10 days. After that ibuprofen... my back hurts and my side. Getting in and out of bed is pure hell.

I haven't slept on my back yet. Just side and stomach.

I was so hoping for Oxi ! I'm going to need it. I've been researching pain meds and meds to combat bruising and have been stashing up. Arnica Montana is one of the meds I remember. Really good reviews on it for cosmetic surgery patients. How many days are you post opp? Are you able to walk? How was your drains ? I'm so nervous girl !!

Do you think I should invest in a body pillow or pillows at home will be just fine? How's taking a shower ? Do you have an appetite ?

Click on my name and check out my page. I went to Dr. miami. I'm almost 4 weeks post op. Yes , I'm walking and driving. I still haven't returned to work. I took one month off. Draines don't hurt at all. My nurse took it out after 7 days. I have a body pillow and a booty pillow. Don't be scared doll ❤️️

The first few days I didn't have no appetite. I only ate soup, fruit and crackers. I needed help taking showers the first few days but now I'm fine.

When do you plan on getting your surgery ? I am so nervous! Next Wednesday is the day and I feel like I'm unprepared for the unexpected ! Lol

I plan on August or September. I want to make sure I can get the info needed to make a good decision. I am nervous too, but we deserve to look our best. I am going for it!!!

I had two c-sections in the past. It is similar to a tummy tuck I guess. I want a tummy tuck bbl and Lopo of my back and sides. I am not scared but really want to pick the right surgeon. That is most important to me.

You have a c section to reference your pain so that's helps you on your pain tolerance! This will be my first surgery ever. I wish you the best on finding the right doc for you. If you have any questions at all for me just comment and I'll share my experience;)

Not yet !! You honestly just reminded me to do so. So I'll call tomorrow and get that done before I'm all out of luck. Are you using a recovery home? I life a few hours away so I'm planning to go home after the first 2 days.

Im just staying at a hotel, Im out of texas so I'll be there for 10 days. My hubby is coming with me so he will be taking care of me!

Congrats! Got my consult today with his office. Still deciding . The cost is very high!

Compared to other dr prices- I think so too but I was so stuck on dr.j the moment I found him. All of my specifications were met by him so I swallowed the pill and stuck with it. I hate seeing others paid 5k and I paid 12k

Thank you! It's been 7-8 weeks now and I'm still healing. For the most part I'm 80% recovered. It's so hard to explain the feeling I feel inside in regards to my butt. Like I feel that I can feel the fat that was lipoed as if it's still settling?!? Crazy it sounds I know. It I can't describe it! And my back is still revering from all the lipo. My back has the most pain. I mean he took every bit of fat I had so my nerves and feeling in my back is healing slowly. It's still hypersensitive and I still can't touch my toes or do certain movements. OH AND it hurts to run or jump !!! Feels like I have 2 tons back there and that pain isn't a good feeling at all. (Ok I'm done complaining!) ;)
