There have been a few changes since I last posted. I started doing the stretches and massages as directed by Dr and I'm using bio oil on incisions. I have noticed they have softened a great deal. My pre-op larger side has softened and dropped already while the other side is still higher and stiffer. I am able to lay on them without discomfort. I cannot walk around without a bra because it's too uncomfortable but I do sleep without one. I can now lay on my side comfortably as well. I still have not gotten my range of motion completely back but it's better. I have difficulty with pushing and pulling but that is also getting better each day. I take a picture everyday to track changes. I posted a quick video. Hopefully it load.

Your dropping beautifully and look so nice and natural! I posted last time asking you about Ideal and how I was nervous about projection. I decided i'm going with Ideal 240cc and I hope my results are as natural as yours!

Thank you. They are coming along. I still expect to have noticeable asymmetry since it was very drastic before. I don't really care above cleavage so it's a non issue for me. I'm just happy they aren't deflated anymore. I feel so much better about how I look in clothes. I had a dress I bought 9 years ago and wore it once and hated how flat I was and refused to wear it again. I pulled it out the other week and I cannot wait to be able to wear it in a couple months.

Incisions
lalachicaApril 9, 2018
Just want to post a picture of my incisions. So far looking good. I have no pain and occasional tightness mostly through the night. Still have numbness from incision point up to nipple but some sensation has returned. Nipples are somewhat sensitive but not too bad. I haven't been on any pain medicine or Tylenol for a few days now. I still get easily tired just walking around causes my muscles to tighten. I'm a bit concerned since I have to start work Wednesday. I doubt I'll make it 8 hours when I can't walk for 10 minutes without feeling worn out. I have started wearing a back brace for extra support since I seem to slump as I walk. It actually helps alot with support. (Mueller back brace Walmart $15) Nothing drastic has happened the implants seem to feel heavy as im starting to get more sensation back.

Good luck on returning to work. I returned today & my surgery was just last Thursday. I wish I could have taken more time off. Do you work a desk job? I think you'll be fine as long as it's not physical labor.
Since you also went with Dr. Colgrove, I'm curious if your throat has been really sore? My throat feels like sandpaper when I swallow anything. My whole mouth & throat are super dry.
I couldn't really talk to him about it at my post-op because he was in & out in 2 minutes. He just changed my tapes & that was about it. I know he's not much for conversation but I do appreciate his work. He's a great surgeon.
Your incisions are looking good! I'm the same skin tone & had a keloid on my ear before, so I'm worried about scarring. But Dr Colgrove seems to do a great job making his incisions.

First and second day my throat felt a little funny but didn't really hurt. When I talked I sound like I had a sore throat. But after the first two days it was fine. I'm worried about the scars too. I don't want raised scars. I heard that massaging them and also lightly squeezing them helps to decrease raised scars. But so far they look ok. I don't have a desk job I work at a factory. I asked my supervisor to put me on light duty for a couple weeks once I return to reduce possiblity of straining.. but im not going back until tomorrow. I have another appointment Monday where we will go over massages :/ I heard doing them hurt so I'm a little nervous. Good luck to you.

Oh ok. Yes definitely good to be on light duty. Dr Colgrove can write a note saying you shouldn't lift more than 5lbs. He wrote a note for me but I didn't use it. Because I just have a desk job & I didn't want the HR lady being nosy & looking up the Dr's name & finding out he's a plastic surgeon. Lol. I'm trying to be discrete.
At my next appointment I'm going to ask about scar creams. I know some girls use bio oil & other products. I have a whole aloe vera plant in my kitchen, lol.

After 3 weeks he said I can start scar treatment. I saw people using bio oil or mederma I'm not sure which one I want yet. Inaslo her siicone scar strips so I don't know. And I won't lift anything heavy. I don't want to damage anything. And I'm not getting a note either I don't want them to be nosy either lol.

lala if you use Bio-oil just remember a little goes a long way! I love using that stuff. Smells great, silky feel. A lot of people complained of it being greasy but I think they were using too much. My bottle lasted for like 6 months b/c you don’t need much. Good luck & happy healing ❤️

Incisions
lalachicaApril 5, 2018
Haven't updated in a few days. Nothing new really happening. Still having tightness especially at night. I started taking my muscle relaxers again at night. The tightness made my boobs feel like they were going to explode out of my bra. And the extreme tightness in my lower rib cage made breathing so difficult I couldn't sleep. I could only sleep for 30 minutes at a time.
I tried to drive the other day and it was kinda difficult. Walking for short distance leaves me feeling out of breath and causes my muscles to tighten. Well seem like touching them wind blowing past them laughing talking causes my muscles to tighten up. I really hope that it's not this bad next week because I have to return to work. Sitting in the house so long is so depressing. It's Spring break and I can't even take my kids out to do anything so I'm feeling bad about that. Well I changed my tape today it took about 20 minutes to get them off. I think my incisions look pretty good so far so that's a good thing.

Hi there, thanks for updating! Your post caught my attention because I am also considering the Ideal implant and I also plan on getting a conservative size. I'm thinking anywhere from 210 to 240 for me. I really want Ideal but I'm disappointed that they only have one profile, which is high profile. I'm nervous that will give me a lot of projection and cause a lot of unwanted attention as I want mine to look very natural and subtle. Do you feel like yours protrudes out a lot? I want fullness rather than projection. Do you think they would look good on me at the size I mentioned? I am 5'0, 110lbs with broad shoulders, about 12cm BWD. I would love to hear what you think. Thanks!

Mine does not protrude far out...Although they have not fully dropped yet. Mine actually look the same as they did when I wore my padded bras. I also only wanted fullness not projection. No one has noticed that I had the surgery not even my mom. My BWD was 12.5/13 I can't quite recall. I think what you end up with will be conservative but it also depends on what you already have. As you can see from my pictures I was very deflated.

Just to add the pictures on here make them look much bigger than they actually are.

Thank you so much for responding and so quickly! You're the only one that has actually replied back to me when I leave comments, lol. This is so helpful because I basically want to look only a little bit bigger than my thickly padded bra. I am pretty flat, most 32A's don't fit me properly. I don't want anyone to notice mine since I'm doing it for myself, I just want to fit better in my clothes. Thank you again for your help! Please continue to update with your progress.

No stretches or massages for me because I have shaped implants.
He told me to wear a bra that pushes my boobs together, like towards the center. Did he tell you that? It made me worried that mine might be too far apart.
