How it works
  • Our highly-trained Review Moderation team evaluates all reviews before they're published to ensure they're written by people like you and not a member of a doctor's office.
  • This multi-step process takes up to 24 hours from review submission to publication.
  • Doctors can't pay to have reviews removed or hidden.
  • Reviews are only removed at the reviewer's request or if they violate our Terms of Service.

She was amazing! I have read so many reviews that bash this woman, but they all seem to have one thing in common, poor aftercare! The decision to get surgery is no joke! You have to be mentally, physically, and financially prepared. So if you are lacking in any one of those areas, wait! Also, DO YOUR RESEARCH! RS should not be your only source of info. Back to Dr. Boutté. I had an easy time getting a quote and scheduling my procedure, the office staff was helpful and pleasant. Brittany is a doll! During my consultation, I shared with her why I chose her, and it was because of a prayer she posted online. She gave me a huge hug and explained that she asks God daily for guidance to bless us dolls! On the day of my procedure, Nurse Lee was an absolute God send! My blood pressure was higher than normal, due to my anxiety about being put to sleep and she made me feel at ease. Like the sweetest aunt ever! The anesthesiologist, Dr. Pinkney was incredible too! He made me laugh and promised me he’d help get my pressure down. I cannot not express my joy of having an all African American team work on me. Dr. Pinkney told me he was injecting some antacids into my IV and I was OUT after that! Lol! I woke up to Nurse Lee and her assistant dressing me. I didn’t wake up cold, I was alert and cracking jokes (I was high as hell), all due to the amazing anesthesiologist! I also asked for Dr. Boutté, as I did not speak with her before being put under. Nurse Lee called her in, and she was her pleasant bubbly self. She hugged me and told me she got me as snatched as possible! And boy did she! She removed 6600cc’s and transferred 1100cc’s to each side. My recovery has been as expected. I knew I’d be sore, and I knew I had to follow post op instructions to the T! I got daily massages for the week I was in ATL. I did develop pockets of fluid, but I didn’t panic. I was lucky to have the first pockets removed by Lee during my 1st post op visit, and the second, small pockets were removed by my PCP. I keep my faja on 24/7. I also use lipo foams to assist with compression. I am now 3 weeks PO and I am loving my body so far. My advice no matter what Dr. you choose, do your research, plan your aftercare, and don’t be discouraged when your results are noticeable immediately. Your body will continue to change for the first 6 months. One more thing, remember that these surgeons are NOT MAGICIANS! Stop expecting to get of the table looking like Bernice Burgos! That takes multiple rounds! :)
