Update with pictures 1 1/2 syringe of Juvederm
WORTH IT$500
Hi ladies I decided to wait a full month to go back and see Dr. Struck after letting my lips settle from my very first appointment. My first appointment was August 11(half syringe) I went back on August 13 (half syringe) and now September 11 for a total of 1 1/2 syringes. The total cost has been $500. Take a look at the pictures as you will see, they are much fuller I love the full look at my lips and the progression from the first appointment to my third appointment. Dr. struck was his usual friendly self and was happy to help me out. I was literally in and out within 15 minutes today as you can also see I have zero bruising. Feel free to reach out to me if you need anything or have questions after my appointment Dr. struck provide me with a cold compress as you see in the pictures. Have a great weekend! I saw the brochure in the waiting area and told him that I wanted my lips to look like the lady on the ad and they're pretty darn close :)

Conservative was not the way for me! Lol need bigger lips!
As I mentioned I got my first half syringe of Jervaderm Ultra on 8/11 and wanted to be conservative. Well... It turns out conservative was not for me. 2 days later I went back to see Dr. Struck and he was super busy but fit me in for a touch up. He actually waited for me while I was sitting in his exam room taking a conference call with numbing cream on my lips haha. With that said he put more in my top and a little on the bottom. I was leaving to Vegas in 1 day and was a little worried about bruising. Well.. Aside from a little bruising at the needle point I really didn't have any. Anyhow.. I loved my lips while in Vegas, but now I realized that even though I've seen him two times I probably want a full syringe. Since this was my first time I wasn't sure. It's now been almost 2 weeks and my lips are settled so I know what look I am going for. It was no fault to the Dr. It's just my preference. With that said I will be calling his office Monday to get scheduled for another appt. he charged me : $250 for 1/2 , not for the touch up and I, certain he will charge me Another to $250 for this appt. he normally charges $500 for full. I'll update after my appt next week.

So the Dr performed the injection himself? Also I am mixed and wondered about bruising especially because of my skin tone. You said you had minimal bruising/swelling? When did this subside and did you do anything to help the healing process along?
Also could you tell me what your injection sites were. I am going in 2 weeks and want to know what to tell the dr. Did you take pictures with you to your appt?

Hi there, he gave me 2 injection points on my bottom lip and 2 on the top. If you look at the picture below to the left all I have is gloss on. You can see in the corner it is a little bit darker and that is a small bruise. When I left dr. Struck's office he gave me a cold pack for my mouth and I applied it while driving and I did take two motrins to help with swelling. Thanks for reaching out.
