After lurking around on RS for weeks I finally feel like my BA journey is official enough to post about. I've had relatively small breast forever and I've always wanted to get them done but didn't really think it was at all possible. I guess I was wrong! After reading and watching reviews on Dr. Desai and his office I thought I'd give Doctors Plastic Surgery a try.
About a month ago I made the decision to schedule a consultation with Dr. Desai. I went on the website to request a consultation and I swear it seemed as though I received a call back before I could get my cursor off the submit button. The office scheduler was very pleasant and I felt great about the customer service. Like most women I sat up hours searching the web for reviews. I found nothing but stellar reviews on Dr. Desai and his staff. Everyone had said their experience was great as he made them feel comfortable and I can concur(I'll explain a little further). To be honest, I came across one review that was unfavorable. However, 1 out 66 5 star reviews did not deter me from wanting to move forward with my consultation although it did scare me a little at first. I was all set and ready to go until I realized the office had to reschedule which had left me a little sad considering the next appointment would be two weeks later. So to pass the time I spent countless hours researching vlogs and journals on YT.
Finally, the day came for my consultation and my husband and I drove 1 hour and 15 minutes to the office. I can honestly say that we were impressed with the building in which the office was located and even more impressed with the office itself. It was very clean and contemporary. The staff was nice and Dr. Desai was everything that I'd read. He was sweet, funny and honest. Now I know why everyone raves about him! He is very knowledgeable but doesn't try to force you into a decision (both my husband and I liked that about him). I went in with what I had in mind (after tons of research) and we all agreed on 650cc|saline|under the muscle| inframammary crease incision although I'm not sure of the profile. I am 5'6 currently wearing a 36B. I am hoping to become a 36DD. My coordinator Heaven was such a sweetheart and very professional. Everyone made the decision to move forward that much more easier.
Today, I made my deposit and I am happy to say that my surgery is officially scheduled for 11.19.15. I hope that I can relax until then as I've been bubbling over with anticipation. I will keep you all updated with my pre op appointment which is scheduled for 11.6.15.
