Hi everyone, so since my last update my nose has been changing constantly. Some days it will look good and some days it will swell up due to heat I’m assuming; as it’s very hot here in Australia.
Here’s some updated pics of my current nose. Not a huge difference in my opinion but I was after a more natural result. I really like my profile now and I can see the tip is only starting to have definition. Contouring with makeup has been so much easier since I now have the added height to my bridge. This has also slimmed down the width of my nose. My alar is also less wide.
Since I have thick skin the girls from VIP said 1-2 years to see final results. I hope more definition will come through in the tip overtime :)

Hey everyone who’s been following my update, here are some mixed pics since my last post. The tip has gotten slightly smaller and a bit more defined. It used to be a bit upturned but that’s a part of the swelling so don’t be too worried if you have the same problem, it will come down!! My coolumella area has also lessen in size. I think the main thing I’m still trying to get used to is the added bridge between my eyes. Friends and family who have seen my selfies or in person are starting to notice the change and been asking if I did something to my nose, I’m completely honest with everything so I don’t mind telling haha. Most say it looks so natural and the slight enhancements are noticeable which is what I was aiming for.
Anyways still a long way to go but I’m keen to see the end result, hoping it will keep getting smaller and more defined in the tip :)

Wow. Looks very nice. Did you have the alar reduced?
November 2, 2018
Thanks lovely! Yes I did get my alars slightly reduced. I think it’s because my tip was also being projected so I didn’t need to reduce it much x

You look amazing, did you use all rib ? Also did you get mid face augmentation as well ? I’m considering dr Lee for my revision. Seeing your results is so great

Hi lovely, I used silicone implant + an alar reduction and when he saw me in person he said my mid face wasn’t too sunken so I didn’t need it. But definitely get the mid face done if he recommends it to you in person! A girl I met there got her mid face done and it made the biggest difference, prior to surgery her mid face was very sunken and protruded mouth. I will give my final thoughts on the clinic in my 6 months op post :) x

3 Weeks Post Op!!
Miss318August 20, 2018
Hi everyone sorry I’ve been gone for the last 2 weeks. As mentioned earlier my skin is extremely thick and so much work was done to my tip it looked sooo swollen when I took off the tape :( I seriously couldn’t look at myself for longer than 5 mins. I looked like an avatar lol. At one point I contemplated about this whole nose job and even started looking into revision lmao .. but now I know I just need to be patient for a year and decide then, hopefully VIP can fix it if it comes to that. Anyways a few things to note:
- thick skin = longer swelling from 6 months-1 year to see decent results. Whereas thin skin will look pretty final at 6 months
- Rule of thumb is if you really like your nose straight away most likely it’s gonna look so different by the end since most of it is still swelling. Some people I’ve seen reviews from loved their nose at 2 months and as time when by it got too small and they hated it. So swelling in most cases is perfectly normal and is good sign. Around 6 months most swelling should subside and should be more closer to your final nose.
- there’s gonna be a lot of dry boogers, VIP will provide a bottle of saline and also a cleaning bottle+tube for you to use 2 months post op.
- VIP will also charge for all medication there plus the emergency medication you need to take home. It was $100 altogether I think. This isn’t included in the price.
Anyways I really appreciate all the girls who worked there especially Chloe, Jessica and Dani. I was feeling so down when my tape was off! It looked wayyy more bulbous than before BUT they continuously comforted me everyday and reassuring me that it’s just swelling. It truly has gone down soo much since the first week and I hope to see the results I am after in the end. I do love my bridge now and Dr lee didn’t add too much height like I asked, I really do like how my side profile looks and also the slight slope.
I’m not confident to show you guys my swelled up pics BUT I’ll attach my current nose and an example photo I found on YouTube about swelling for bulbous nose with thick skin. It’s the best reminder for me to trust the process and hopefully it will be for you too :’)

I have read that each month is a new Discovery and people like us with very very very thick skin will really need to be seriously patient and not be too judgemental when it comes to the rhino results especially if it’s less than 9 months post op. So yes as hard as it is patience must be exercised. I have thick skin and I will be like you :). I honestly like the shape of your nose and imagine after all the swelling ya gone down :).
Hang in there and take each month at a time
August 28, 2018
Thank you for the kind words! I really needed that :’( it’s so hard to be patient but that’s the only option before I can really judge the results. I will definitely let you know how I feel in 6-9 months time :) x

Look at this way. By the time I do my rhino you will be 10 months post op. While im busy feeling sorry for myself and regretting it all, you will be saying to me “puffff girlfriend take a chill, relax, calm down....calm down now. You don’t need to be dramatic now” lol lol lol .......while I roll myself on the floor throwing a tantrum hahahaha

Hi , I just had my revision Rhinoplasty and it is 7 days. My nose looks big and swollen. How long did it take you before the swelling to come down ?

March 7, 2019
Hey
I have never had a rhino. Only doing mine in June. What I do know from the tons and tons and tons of reviews is that the first 2 months there will be loads of swollen more especially for a revision rhino due to second trauma to the nose while a primary rhino will be prone to swelled but lesser than revision rhino
Who did your rhino?
