WORTH IT$3,800
I can tell the different . However I think the alar plasty alone doesn’t give me the result that I want . I am considering getting a tip plasty .
The nostril is slightly uneven . But I am ok with that .

I did it in Singapore. I have spoken with the other plastic surgeon , he told me that alarplasty alone cannot give you the ideal result that I want . It is because is all about proportional . Hence , i am going to get septoplasty and little fixing on my bridge. Good luck !

You are saying the difference is very minor? Doesn't that mean the surgery isn't very successful? Is there no surgeon that can do major nostril reduction?

I have a width fat nose which I hate it so much.
Getting an alarplasty was my first plastic surgery .
Pro:
1.Fast recovery - I didn’t take any pain killer and the I felt fine . My nose was slightly swollen for the first few days . No bandage and split . Very little dry blood.
2. biodegradable stitches . The stitches started to drop after a week. My surgeon told me to rub the incision slightly while I was washing my face otherwise it will take forever for the stitches to drop.
3. Fast surgery
4. You will be able to go to work after few days . To be honest I even started skipping after 2 days !! (Of course I was suppose to rest for a week).
Cons :
1. The difference is very minor . But I am ok with it.
2. “Tight” feeling around the incision for more than a month. After 3 months , I felt normal again.
3. There is “mark” on the induction area after healing ( not visible unless you bite your lips and look very closely ; to be honest no body will look at you your nose like that).
4. Uneven nostrils (see pictures) (only noticeable when u look at your nose from the bottom; again nobody is going to look t your nose like that)

Thanks for your post! Do you notice any changes to your breathing?

Sorry for my late reply . The recovery from alarplasty was super easy. No change on my breathing . I just had my full rhinoplasty. I have to admit rhinoplasty recovery is a lot more challenging than alarplasty . Good luck !

Ohh ok don't you like silicone implant? How come you only did one side with ear cartilage?

Actually what u re seeing is jut alarplasty . I have done full rhinoplasty 6 months earlier . No regrets at all ! I am glad that I didn't go for the silicon because there is high change of getting an infection and because it is foreign subject your body will form a capsule around it instead of attach to it like using my own er cartilage . I only use one side because dr. Said I have enough cartilage in my nose for him to use . Please please don't go for silicone. Try google silicon rhinoplasty complication . It will care the hell out of u.
