Asian Rhinoplasty

I always feel insecure about my face, always think i’m not as pretty or not as good looking like the celebrities i see on television and movies until i found out they had something done on their faces. In my case as a Filipino, most celebrities from home had their noses done to improve their faces. As soon as i learned how to use Photoshop in college, i always edit my face to see how i would look with a refined nose and i started to like what i’m seeing.
I decided to go to Dr. Sirius K. Yoo of SKY Facial Plastic Surgery for this important decision of my life. He specialize in facial cosmetic surgery and double board certified. My surgery will be on Nov. 24, 2017 for a Septo-Rhinoplasty.

The clinic scheduled me for a 2nd consultation today since my 1st consultation was from last year (2016)....Dr. Yoo even for the second time, is still very nice and reviewed me the plan we both agreed on last year. So he will do a cartilage graft from my ear to build my bridge higher, will narrow my nostrils and give me a more defined nose tip. This got me very excited and of course nervous since this is my first surgery ever but Dr. Yoo and the nurse assured me that i’m in good hands.

I finally had surgery yesterday and it went smooth. Anesthesiologist gave me the meds via I.V. and I was out within 10 sec. the next thing I know they’re waking me up in the recovery room and told me I did great and everything went fine. My throat would feel like i have a sore throat since they had to put an oxygen tube down since it was a general anesthesia.

Today is day one of my post op and so far there’s no bruising (Dr. Yoo did not break any bones since it’s just augmentation) The swelling is just fine and the pain is tolerable (with the help of pain meds of course if i need it) The picture attached was taken yesterday after surgery, before I went to bed.
