Pics from 6.5 weeks post op

At 6 weeks the swelling was still there but has gone down a lot, I started feeling petite again and in my own skin. I wore my faja for 12 hours a day now, mostly at night.
Around 7.5 weeks I didn’t wear the faja for 3 nights, had salty foods 3 meals a day for 2 days and went out to the club( Was on a bachelorette trip and the bride to be chose places that didn’t have healthy or low sodium meals)Not what I had planned to do, I feel bad for my body and recovery but let me tell you, I had sooooo many looks and compliments on my body. My hips and booty is very noticeable but not fake looking. I was not in pain during this time but all that salty foods made it uncomfortable due to the swelling and made my stomach very hard. Swelling made my waist a little wider but I still looked very good overall.
I’m 2 days shy of 8 weeks post op now. Back in my faja and it feels good because of all the swelling I’m having ( due to salty foods). No longer on vacation, just got back today, I will be back on low salt meals ( mostly) starting tomorrow.
My stomach is still very sensitive, I wore my lululemon leggings for the first time few days ago and it really left indents across my stomach and was uncomfortable after a few hours. The most comfortable things are sweatpants that are loose at the waist and dresses right now. I did try on my jeans and it’s a no. When the hips fit, it’s too loose at waist. Will have to shop for jeans when it’s time. I still have some discoloration around my waist so I’m not comfortable wearing anything that shows too much of my midsection yet.
I plan on wearing my faja 12 hours a day for another month or so, and maybe go down to 8 hours after that
Pics are from 6.5 weeks. I feel like the curves are even more noticeable in form fitting dresses

Week 1- 5 with pics repost

Not sure why pics didn’t show so I’m reposting the whole thing with pics
Here are some updates and photos from week 1-5
I had some new bruising forming from day 3- day 7 on my inner thighs ( where I did not get lipo) i was worried at first because it was not there the first couple of days but it’s apparently normal. Also new bruising showed up on the sides of my intergluteal cleft aka butt crack on day 5
My legs didn’t swell until day 6/7 and my knees stayed swollen for weeks
I could not fit into the stage 2 garment dass provided at week 2. There are no zippers and no claps. Laying flat, the waist of my stage 2 measured 12inch across ( 24 inches around) and it was almost impossible to pull it over my booty. I ordered a stage 2 faja with claps online. While waiting for my order to come. Sleeping has gotten more comfortable but my face is still swollen every morning from sleeping on my stomach.
At week 3 I was finally able to squeeze into dass’s stage 2 faja, but it was compressing my booty. I wore it for almost a week because there was delay on the one I had purchased online. Dass’s stage 2 faja was also hurting/bruising and digging into my 32DD breasts. Not sure if because my torso is short or boobs was just lil big for that faja. I still wore my side foams with that faja but couldn’t do a shirt underneath because no way to open the faja to stuff shirt in ( no zipper or clasp)
The one I bought online was designed to give the booty extra room with little to no compression around that area.
Also at week 3 the bruising on my thighs finally disappeared
At week 4 my booty started to soften a bit but my sides and stomach/abs were still hard and foreign.I begin to massage my lipo areas at this time . I started feeling comfortable outside of the faja at this point. My stomach started to flatten out but my lower ab was still swollen
At 4.5 weeks I started using the garment I had purchased online. It gave me more compression at the waist and less on the booty. And was lots easier to put on.
At week 5 I was finally able to comfortably massage myself and my body no longer felt foreign. I no longer felt like I needed the faja for protection and comfort ( but I still wore it)
Dr, Dass said you no longer need to wear foams after the 2 weeks mark but I still felt the need to wear them on my sides. Without those side foams I was getting very painful marks on my sides.
I’m 4 days shy of my 6 weeks mark today. I still wear my side foams and added ones up front along the claps. Massaging my body no longer hurts, the booty has started to jiggle a bit when I walk outside of the faja. I’ve had no problem sleeping with either stage 2 fajas.
I feel like I bruised more than most of the girls I’ve seen. Most of the bruising is gone but I have discolorations on my sides sides and the sides of my butt crack where I had very dark bruising.
Another thing, I was babying my incisions too much, I was putting neosporin and bandaids on it for longer than recommended so it took a little longer to heal. The 2 incisions in front took the longest possibly because I was getting up so much and was disturbing it, it kind of opened back up at one point on day 3 or 4 while I was trying to get comfortable in bed.
Today is Friday, Tuesday marks my 6 weeks. I plan to only wear my faja about 8-12 hours a day after that. I do have some lumps and bumps so I scheduled a lymphatic massage for Monday, I hope this lady knows that she’s doing. I have 4 scheduled for the next 2 weeks and will go from there .
My lower back is still swollen so I’m still wearing the triangle that was given by Dass’s office.
My hips aren’t as round anymore, it’s going back to more of a natural shape but it’s still nice.
Random stuff
My hip size has dropped maybe one inch from week 2 to now. Hopefully nothing more will go
My waist size has dropped 2 inches from weeks 2 to now ( swelling going down)
I didn’t wash my hair until 2.5 weeks post op. I know it’s gross but I didn’t want to soften the incisions or irritate it with my shampoo or conditioner ( I’m paranoid) so I had it in double French braids for the longest time.
I don’t have much booty projection but my overall shape is still very hourglass. Dr. Dass did an amazing job. I look great from the font and from the back, but my stomach is still swollen so not too amazing from the side yet.
My belly button is kinda different now. It’s bit as hollow. Hopefully will open back up to normal after not having to wear the faja all day.
I do plan to start lifting again and workout. I want to be fit, strong and healthy again. Hopefully it will only help the booty tone and grow, not shrink.
Go buy compression socks before your surgery! The one the office provide is not that great
Sorry this is so long, and sorry if some of the info is repetitive. I wrote this throughout the day so yea. This is that happens when u neglect to post updates for a whole month haha. If you have questions feel free to ask. I’ll upload a few pics today. Will upload more next week
Also want to say I am thankful for Dr. Dass and his team. Everyone was so amazing. I know some ppl say he is cold or not very friendly but the man is gifted, professional and patient. He answered all my questions each time I saw him. I never felted rush. I still email in questions here and there and they always answer me right away. I definitely chose the right team. Good luck with your journey and recovery everyone. It does get easier and easier each week
